Staff very polite, friendly and welcoming. Good selection for breakfast of fruit, fruit juice, and hot food, bacon, eggs, pancakes, vegetables.
I stayed 3 different times and each time found the room more than satisfactory with a balcony. My last room was a deluxe corner room with early checkin which was honoured and at 9.00am.
The rooms were quiet. The rooftop garden and restaurant service is a lovely place to chill out on the divans. The location was not far from Thamel shops about a 10 minute walk. this mean that the hotel was quiet.
Across the road from the hotel is a lovely secret garden eatery.
The food in the restaurant is very good and in fact in the evenings I ate several times in the restaurant.

Room a little small for 3 people
This is a great hotel right in the center of Thamel. Great rooms, breakfast and a very nice rooftop bar / restaurant! The best part about the Hotel is probably the owner Hari, you can book pretty much everything directly with him and he is very knowledgable about all things Trekking / Climbing related. A great place to stay!
Great location. The name of the hotel is perfect as it felt like home the whole time I was here. All the staff made me feel like family. The food is amazing, breakfast is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great hotel. Highly recommended.
The hotel is really nice and clean. The location is perfect for people who wants to visit Tham and spend more time there. Also the breakfast was really tasty and nutritious. Definitely I will stay again in the hotel when I’m in Kathmandu
I absolutely love the Kathmandu Suite Home. I've stayed here three times already and am always satisfied. The professional and welcoming staff create the most comfortable atmosphere. They kindly provided me with the room I like best. I also stored my luggage during the trek, and it was kept safe and sound, no mold. The beds were comfortable and the view of the city was beautiful. If I come to Kathmandu again, I'll choose this hotel again. Thank you!
Amazing location, very nice and hospitable staff. The rooms were very clean and made tidy very often. Very nice rooftop where you can see the city and look at the mountains. We recommend it!!
