A great place to stay in downtown St Pete!
Pros:

Perfect location for downtown St Pete activities. The breakfast was decent, and the room was clean and very sizeable.

Cons:

Bathroom door didn't lock.

Rip off.
Pros:

I booked a room with a free night stay award. When I showed up at the hotel, there was a festival taking place around the hotel, which made access and parking impossible. I ended up going home. Hyatt then charged me for a night stay even though I had used an award night. They refused to honor the free night stay. I will never stay at a Hyatt again.

Great Central Ave hotel
Pros:

Attentive staff, great breakfast, and a central location make all the restaurants and sights easy to reach on foot. Can't ask for better.

Great place on a HOT week!
Pros:

Great location. Ease of finding and parking.

Cons:

The one issue was the length of time to get elevators. They are also shared with the cleaning staff, and I know those folks have to work hard, but, inevitably, they need those elevators the same time as departing guests, guests going to breakfast etc. it didn’t help that only two elevators were in service.

Maybe set aside one elevator for staff???

My go-to hotel in St. Pete
Pros:

!Hyatt Place Downtown St. Petersburg never disappoints. The staff is fantastic, and the rooms are always clean, comfortable, and equipped with excellent bedding. Plus, the location is unbeatable—perfect for parking the car and exploring the city on foot.

It works.
Pros:

Great location. One street off of a great row of bars and restaurants. Terrible wi-fi. Mediocre pool. Overcrowded breakfast. Awesome staff.

AC and hot water not working correctly.
Pros:

Great room set up staff was helpful and friendly

Cons:

Our AC wasn’t working correctly. We didn’t realize this until getting back to our room late. We were offered another room but our kids were already asleep. Then the next morning before check out we discovered we had also had no hot water.

Noise Level 100 until 3am!!
Pros:

Great room and great view from the 10th floor. Overall, a horrible experience due to the bass and club noise until 3am even on the 10th floor. You could feel and hear the bass and clubs. The room wasn't ready by the 3pm check-in. The staff was not friendly and even forced their way onto an already packed elevator.

Meh...vibe , rude staff. Pretty location though
Pros:

The areas around the hotel where we were supposed to be able to relax were dirty. The Monday morning check out staff were rude, dismissive and not even able to help us find a luggage cart. And there were two people there.
