I've stayed at this hotel many of times throughout the years. I normally choose this hotel because of its location in Bole. People are very friendly and are accommodating, today I have a/c and the manager was quick to charge my room as well as assist me with Internet. The waitress (Seblewengble) was very professional and courteous. She was very helpful and assisting me with a table issue and serving me with my order, always smiling and polite.
I had an amazing stay for the second time at Bests Western Plus Addis, the service from airport pick up, beautiful welcoming faces at the reception and the staff at Breakfast were all lovely. Breakfast was also good and had options. The serving team Birtukan, Alem, Yohannis and everyone else also were very helpful. Thank you for all the staff making my stay beautiful!

The location is excellent. The bar in the lobby is great for watching the World Cup. The gym and spa are really nice. All of the staff in both the hotel and spa were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable. The AC works well, and beds were comfortable.

I gave the hotel five stars in spite of a few negatives that were outweighed by the positives.
First off, this was a family trip with two kids and were stayed in one of the hotels suites (probably a junior suite, but it had a separate living room).
Most reviewers mention the staff and they have been great. The longer we stayed and got to know everyone, the better the stay became. I don’t remember everyone’s name, but here are a few of the people who took care of us:
Getachew T, Getachew M, Meron, Mahlet, Belay, Tsion, Meskerem, Melimelikamu, the laundry guy whose name I missed, but who was always helpful and friendly, and finally the two waitresses from the lobby bar / restaurant, both of who interacted with my kids and made them feel at home).
Food was good and had a decent variety (we did the breakfast buffet every day, the dinner buffet one night and the restaurant downstairs most other nights). We never got sick and food quality and safety appeared to be good.
Bed quality was good. Showers had hot water (though not a ton of water pressure).
The negatives were that our room faced the street and it was occasionally loud (both from a World Cup game broadcasted across the street and from the lobby bar band that played until 11pm on Saturday night); also, the bathroom door handle nearly completely separated from the door, stranding me inside until I found a very specific angle to reinsert it and turn the handle, allowing me to get out. They changed the entire door handle after that, so the problem was solved. Would stay again. The positives far outweighed the few minor negatives.
