Gutes Hotel fürs Wandern
Pros:

Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker, auch in der Scheune. An der Terrasse wachsen die Trauben über einen. Bei später Stunde kann man Snacks und Getränke aus den Automaten holen.
Die Zimmer sind etwas einfach möbliert und die Matratzen sehr weich und hoch.
Vom Hotel aus kann man gut wandern oder mit dem Auto zur Burg Eltz hoch fahren. Ein Bach gurgelt am Parkplatz vorbei.

ganz besonders toll war das frühstück - wirklich außergewöhnliche auswahl mit viel frischem obst etc.
ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen, auch der service war super. das zimmer ist ok ausgestattet, ausreichend groß, für den preis noch ok. es gibt kühlschränke zur selbstbedienung, wenn man noch was möchte. auch das abendessen im restaurant war sehr gut. schöne lage abseits von allem.

Cons:

eine flasche wasser auf dem zimmer hätte mich gefreut, aber es gab ja etwas zu kaufen. im bereich zum abendessen war die musik für meinen geschmack recht laut, draußen saß man aber wunderbar.

Nice hotel, good facilities. Ideal if you’re walking the area.
Pros:

Free parking, close to Eltz castle, breakfast was good.

Cons:

The area had no phone signal. WiFi was not great. If you stay here, be sure to download all instructions and info, unless you have a satellite phone !
Plus we used a travel kettle but caused power outage! Ie tripped a fuse switch and had to have hotel staff sort out early next morning. So no electricity from 11pm . Only our room affected.

Traumhafte Lage und super Service
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Super schönes Gebiet für Fahrradfahrer. Mit eigener Fahrradgarage. Gute Zimmer und sehr gute Betten -wir haben ausgezeichnet geschlafen-. Das Frühstück war ganz toll, alles was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Ich kann dieses Haus und das Gebiet nur empfehlen.

Ik heb beter gehad voor minder geld
Pros:

De ligging was echt heel goed je kon zo naar het kasteel Eltz lopen.

Cons:

Wij kwamen de kamer binnen en de vloerbedekking was echt heel heel vies , allemaal rare kleuren vlekken. Ik durfde niet met blote voeten te lopen. Ik heb daar ook een video van gemaakt. Voor de prijs die ze vragen kan ik toch wel een schone vloer verwachten.
