Premiere fois dans un Hilton, pas convaincue…
Le descriptif de l’hotel dit « à 1km de l’aeroport » on est loin du compte! Il m’a fallu 40 min de navette pour arriver! Je dirais plutot 5 a 10 km et des embouteillages de malade! Je precise que c’est quand meme le 2 e hotel le plus proche!
J’arrive chargee comme un âne, personne pour m’aider avec les valises (5e etage! L’ascenceur est là! Debrouilles toi)
Je vais manger au restaurant de l’hotel, il etait 23h, deja 2 coupures de courant, j’etais tres fatiguee. Pas de courant, pour un paiement mastercard c’est compliqué. Je signe la note et met le numero de ma chambre comme on fait d’habitude qd on regle au check out, je remonte dormir et la on vient frapper à ma porte pour payer tout de suite parce que demain matin c’est pas assez rapide. Je precise que la chambre est payee et que mon repas represente 20€!
Distributeur de savon pour les mains manquant dans la salle de bain. Pas de chance je me lave les mains tres souvent…
Perfect for a short stay near the airport. Staff were very friendly and it was very clean and as expected.
I left one item. Called 12 hours later and it was found. You maintain honest staff. Keep going and doing great.
All fine but good to have cheaper breakfast offer for continental, lighter breakfasts for those who don’t want the big cooked meal.

The price
Very good breakfast, free transport to airport/train station, very convenient location, generally nice and welcoming staff.
Our room had some issue with electricity, so that it would just shut off seemingly without cause, stay out for long periods (hours) and then switch back on. On…off…on…off There was an electrician trying to fix it late at night, and for a while it seemed ok, but then started up again. Note: the problem was not caused by general power cuts, our colleague in the next room had no troubles. As a result we eg took a shower using the flash light of our phones, and could not charge our devices. So we managed, byt this is not what you expect from a hotel costing 200 USD per night. Offering a price compensation upon check-out would have been a great gesture.

We liked how close it was to the airport and the complimentary included airport shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes.
The property itself is furnished modernly and the staff is very kind. Security is on a high level which is great for a hotel in Nairobi.
The rooms were not clean, when we entered the room there were crumbs on the floor, dust everywhere and the bathroom and shower separation glass was dirty. The charging station at the bed stand did not work, and when we asked for an adapter on reception for our chargers we were told they were sold out and we cannot get any. They told us to walk 1km to the nearest supermarket - around midnight time.
