An honest hostel run by an honest man.
Everything worked and the eggs man masterfully whipped up some fried eggs each morning for breakfast.
The room was a good size and all the amenities were in working order.
The location is not too far from the centre, unless you're very lazy or unfit... in which Huaraz is probably not the place for you.
Nothing really. It's basic but the price is also low so you can't have any complaints.

Omar and his family were excellent hosts, they let us do early check in after our overnight bus arrived early, allowed us to store bags while we were hiking, allowed late check out, and did great laundry. The breakfast room is lovely as well!

El lugar no es tan cerca de la plaza pero el lugar esta cerca a muchos restaurantes y un mercado, el lugar es tranquilo.

The potential is good. The location is actually ok, even though at first does not look like, as it is just a few blocks from a nice riverside walk in the center. The owner and staff are very kind, helpful and responsive, The internet is also good, as the kitchen, even though there was no fridge.
The problem with the place is that is run down. The carpet in my room was old and worn out. The hostel needs to be refurbished, and in fact they are repainting the rooms. I am sure that in a little time the hostel will be a good place again.
