Nice accommodation

What can I say amazing value for money…Wendy and Craig do an amazing job..my vegan brekkie was way more than I expected.

Cheap accommodation
Pros:

Parking, bar was very reasonable.

Cons:

Bed and pillow. Kettle didn't work. No ensuite. Hotel was dated and a bit run down 🥲

Very nice friendly and homely place to stay, well worth the price.
Pros:

Delicious food and somewhat adapted to my dietary needs, but I did have to buy some extra things. Very nice room mostly comfortable and homely. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

there were “ghost” spiders making cobwebs and there was a loose tile on the bathroom step. Furniture was old and chair seat was collapsed. I had to buy some extra food for breakfast and dinner as they couldn’t cater for my dietary needs.

Comfortable, well located hotel for exploring Helmsdale and surrounding area.
Pros:

Excellent cooked breakfast, served promptly and hot. Comfortable, well appointed room. Friendly well stocked bar. Great location. Historic hotel with character. Lovely helpful staff.

Pros:

The location was very easy to find the staff were very helpful. Meal was tasty.

Cons:

The beds could use an update on the mattress. And the shower was not good for us as we have mobility issues. But on the whole value for money.
