Small friendly hotel
Pros:

Nice small hotel. Friendly staff. Central in village. The menu for dinner was a tad limited, but the chef kindly made for me an oml;ette as I wanted something simple to each. Breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

I did not notice that it was a shared bathroom when I booked. The room was small but adequate, .

Really enjoyed our stay in Helmsdale. Lovely walks along the harbour and great walk along the beach.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Little thing but the beds were quite noisy when you moved.
