Pros:

Staff were all brilliant, especially the girls on during Friday evening service, very attentive

Great place...will stay here again happily
Pros:

The high points of this hotel are its excellent location for local MTB trails, proximity to the cycle path along the river Tweed, good car parking, fantastic staff, spotless bathroom and toilets, great shower and a first class restaurant, pub and tasty food. The proprietor of the place was very friendly and helpful

Cons:

The lack of a table and comfy chair in the room for working on a laptop or some such was noted. I expected the family room to be a little larger, but that wasn't a huge issue

We had a very pleasant overnight stay - for one night room was ok. Staff were amazing and so welcoming.
Pros:

Traditional hotel, well looked after. Well maintained.
Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ate dinner elsewhere but came back to hotel for drinks later and it was very busy. Barman managed to find us a table which was greatly appreciated.
Breakfast was included in price of booking and was incredible - we both had full Scottish breakfast and it was huge and delicious!

Cons:

We were on 2nd floor with no lift. We did mention next morning and they said we could have asked for lower floor- which is fair enough.
The room was fairly small with little space to get around the bed. Sink in bathroom was tiny and no ledge or shelf to put any toiletries.
