Pros:

The one staff person we met was very friendly and helped us get into our room. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Besides our room key, we had to use two other keys to get into the building if the pub wasn’t open. Inconvenient if you are carrying multiple travel bags. The toilet made a very loud sound when it was flushed.

Nice room in a great location.
Pros:

Really nice room in a great location. The staff were very nice and friendly. Great breakfast.

Breakfast was ok but too noisy. You either have guests and no karaoke or no guests and karaoke.

The Karaoke, in all honesty it was mentioned by the staff if it got too noisy but would have felt very uncomfortable going down to the bar which was full of locals.

Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Een mooie omgeving. Zeer lekker eten in het restaurant.

De accomodatie is ouder en hierdoor hoor je de buren goed en ook de geluiden van de bar.

Havelock a great place to stay in Nairn and obviously very popular with locals- a good sign
Pros:

Food was excellent. We eat two nights and would happily have eaten on a third. Piping hot and lovely variety of dishes menu. Only eat breakfast on one morning and again, good value and selection.

Cons:

It wasn't really a don't like but bar is obviously very popular so was quite noisy and not easy to get a seat. Also noise travelled to bedrooms but again, quietened down before midnight.
Rooms very spacious though beds were quite squeaky!!!
