I love the location. The parking was convenient and easy as we were travel with people who have a mobility issue
Being next to a bust road, I had hoped for better insulated glass/walls. So it was a little noisy. Although the ear plugs were a nice touch.
Cleanliness n very chic n location … also they have free shuttle service for 3 mile radius
Love the spacious room and the large bathroom with extra large shower. The room size for a standard double queen was very gracious. I would start again in the future.
Only issue was the lighting. There was not one bright light for when needed. This was especially noticeable in the bathroom vanity area where we expect a brighter light for putting in contacts, applying make up, and shaving for men... It would have been nice to have a light that dimmed up to bright in one other area as well for ironing etc.
Location and the history on the walls and in lobby
Didn’t get k cups (you should leave 2 per person per day)
Have yet to receive our invoice
Comfortable bed, clean room
Paying to park, check in attendant didnt explain that card used for parking would also be charged for the room, when the room was already charged to a different card at booking.
Everything? Every aspect of our stay was fantastic. The room exceeded our expectations, the food was wonderful, and the staff was amazing beyond belief. The courtesy shuttle made exploring Pittsburg simple and enjoyable. TRUST ME on this: Pittsburg driving is not for the faint of heart. The shuttle made seeing most of the sites and areas a breeze. Marvin was amazing, and full of information, tips and knew all the best locations to visit for a good meal or tasty beverage. Andrea, who we bumped into the most at the Bar/restaurant was just as informative and gave us even more ideas on where to go and have fun. If/when we go back to Pittsburg, we will be staying here again.
Well, checking out and going back home really sucked. Not there fault of course but it did mean the trip was over.
For those who are crazy and or in a situation where you have 2 cars to park, they will charge $30 dollars a day for the second vehicle to park on their private lot. There are not many other options located around the hotel to park, so you are going to be more or less stuck with that fee. 99% wont have that issue, but if you are in a situation with 2 cars, it is something to keep in mind.
Location is Fantastic for getting to the main attractions in Pittsburg with ease: BUT I cannot stress this enough, Pittsburg Driving SUCKS. This is not the hotels fault. Just saying it again as I hate driving in Pittsburg.
Parking, breakfast are not good
Comfortable beds, lovely lobby and friendly staff. A 10 min walk to south side area with restaurants etc
Loud- very close to highway.
PRO: quiet spacious rooms, with platinum status, they upgraded the double room to include a sitting area which made room extra spacious. Some reviews complained about road noise if next to the highway, but our son indicated it didn't bother him. For our king room, I liked the non-carpeted floors and spacious walk in shower. Wife didn't like the shower head as it made the water pressure not so good, but it did have a second hand held shower head so 2 people can shower and not get cold. They provided free shuttle service to nearby Carnegie Mellon University. I did not hear any noise from adjacent room or room above me. Staying on river side had nice view of river and very quiet. On site laundry, $5.50 in quarters for washer and dryer; i brought my own laundry detergent from home. small fridge was convenient to have, allows pets
CON: not near any public transportation like bus stop or rail stop, no adjacent food options, though if you walk across hot metal bridge there are food options like cheesecake factory, slice on broadway (pizza), etc., no microwave in room
Overall, very pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying again the next time I visit Pittsburgh.
