The only place to stay when in Thessaloniki
Pros:

Everything was perfection! The room was exquisite, the personnel top-notch, the location unbeatable, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on, I could go on and on....oh, and the value....worth every penny and not overly pricey by most standards. In Thessaloniki, this is the only place you want to stay....

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like . Absolutely nothing, it was all good.

Heel mooi hotel met aardige medewerkers
Pros:

De kamers die we hadden waren erg ruim, met hoge plafonds en airco. Het hotel ligt midden in een wijk met veel erg goede restaurants. De taverna op de begane grond van het hotel is ook een aanrader. Een van onze kamers lag aan de straatkant van het hotel. Daar hoorde je wel wat geluid van buiten. De andere kamer was muisstil.
De badkamers waren heel netjes en de douche was hoog genoeg voor lange mensen om onder te staan 😊
Alle medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons bij voorbeeld geholpen met het regelen van een dagtrip naar de watervallen in Edessa. Onze kamers werden iedere dag heel goed schoongemaakt. Er staat een Nespresso-apparaat op de kamer.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is heel eenvoudig. Niet slecht, maar redelijk beperkt. Zo zijn er standaard vleeswaren en kaas, groente en fruit, ontbijtgranen, koffie, sappen etc. Er is ook een kleine ontbijtkaart. Dat is prima voor een kleine ontbijteter. Voor erg goede broodjes, koffie en bougatsa zou ik de bakkerij op de hoek, Albeta, willen aanraden.

Thank you, despite our awful breakfast experience.
Pros:

The hotel's location is fantastic—right in the centre of the old town, in the heart of Thessaloniki where all the action is. The receptionist's attitude during check-in was wonderful; they even accepted our mistaken reservation with a smile.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the breakfast. It was far too weak for a hotel of this standard. The hotel management urgently needs to supervise the breakfast service and its staff. It seems the restaurant area where breakfast is served may be leased to another operator, and the breakfast service is being handled externally—this would explain the lack of coordination.
The breakfast attendant's indifferent and weary attitude was beyond explanation. The breakfast items seemed to have been brought in reluctantly, and when we asked, "Is that all there is?" we received a dismissive "yes." Later, we saw the same attendant bring an omelette to another guest, and as we were leaving, they brought out some bogatza (a type of pastry). All I can say about this attitude is: shameful.
Without exaggeration, I must have stayed at Capsis Hotel Monastriou about 50 times. Despite the crowds there, the service was a hundred times better than what we experienced here.

Si buscas un hotel de 5 estrellas, no es el lugar.

El personal es correcto. Nuestra habitación era espaciosa y la cama cómoda.

Se trata de un hotel antiguo que en algún momento debió merecer las 5 estrellas. Ahora está todo muy deteriorado, las paredes, los muebles, las puertas, las alfombras de las escaleras tienen suciedad acumulada de años, con cubos por el hall porque el agua gotea del techo... El aire acondicionado dejó de funcionar y muy amablemente nos cambiaron de habitación pero la nueva olía a cerrado. El baño es muy pequeño. El café del desayuno es horrible. Tuvimos que pedir en la cafetería, nos lo cobraron claro. Si buscas un hotel de 5 estrellas, no es el lugar. Hay de 3 estrellas mejores.
