SO much attention to detail, spare specs available, as were wellies in a wet time. Last time we stayed was years ago. Lovely garden, friendly staff, a special mention to the gentleman on breakfast service, his gentle sense of humour and care for the guests was first class. Would we stay again? Certainly.
Just nit picking really but the bathroom radiator towel rail would have been better 6" further from the door. When the towels were on it and the door opened they were knocked to the floor, too close.

Nice location. Clean. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was mediocre. Drinks very expensive. Mattress was worst I’ve slept on. I like a firm mattress but this was like laying on a concrete slab

Location beautiful, we rode our bikes.
The bikes were locked up securely.

A lovely hotel, set in a wonderful tranquil spot just outside Brockenhurst. So nice to wake up and see the New Forest ponies roaming right outside the hotel! Beautiful gardens with lots of outside seating and plenty of car parking space. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, everything was superb. The bedroom was newly renovated and had some really nice touches (including Nespresso coffee machine, DAB radio, Dyson hairdryer) and a huge bathroom. All the staff were wonderful, very friendly and always wanted to help. We'll definitely go back.
It's hard to be critical of this hotel. Maybe you could argue that it had limited facilities (no gym, no pool) but the tranquility and the ambiance more than made up for that!

No fridge in room, no a/c bathroom could have done with more towels / flannel. plug in bath didn't fit, door didn't lock
Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
Lack of service when sitting in garden. Staff would collect dirty glasses but not take order for drinks. Had to go to bar and carry drinks back.
