Night porter was a star…we arrived very late and quite stressed..he was fast, welcoming and just the ticket!
The location was nice and convenient. Liked the Nespresso machine in the room.
The room was stuffy, the window didn't stay open and the window blinds string was snapped. And the food isn't for me, but it is just my taste.
Location was great, the garden of the hotel was also beautiful. What makes this place stand out though is the staff; they were all so efficient and friendly. Food was lovely.
The only thing we didn’t like was the shower, it was one of those rain ones and ended up wetting the floor quite a bit every time it was used.

Food had to be sent back as not cooked, took an hour to serve everyone, no bedsheet on bed which despite asking for one twice was not resolved, some staff plainly rude. Staff unable to communicate with each other or alter the computer system so that any minor changes to requirements were not actioned.
Size of sink in premium bathroom had no depth so water spilt everywhere, clearly the designer has never texted their work.
Portion size of full English breakfast very small, beans arrive with skin on the top of the pot, fried egg rock hard.
Go to a Premier Inn for better service and food at a fraction of the cost.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very good outside eating area in hot weather, good food and service, dog friendly.
Room cleaning poor - cups not cleaned, coffee/milk not always replaced, towels not always changed. We had to go to Reception for coffee/milk/tea and ask for towels.
Housekeeping was not good……bed was made and fresh towels. But dirty glasses not replaced, tissues not replenished (box was empty when we arrived), just sloppy.
Wait staff need new uniforms! Badly fitting and old.
