Everything I needed and location perfect.
Pros:

All perfect. Been there many times and never disappointed. Reported that I had chipped a plate while washing and offered to pay. They said they would not charge me. It is a small think but builds trust. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Perfect for me. I have been playing tennis for a Club in Mannheim for over 12 years and have always stayed here or at their premises in Bassermann Strasse. Never been disappointed. 7 minutes by tram to the Club.

The property is fine, as long as you don‘t need any help.
Cons:

I have some difficulty walking, and found negotiating the high entrance steps with my suitcase difficult.

I found the directions to my room unclear, and there was no response to my repeated telephone enquiries. The owner later mailed that they had no watch on the telephone over the holiday period (This was Easter). I think this is a weak excuse—surely they should expect more queries over a holiday period rather than fewer?

The Boardinghouse Mannheim is a perfect place for a short weekend or longer stay- I visit family regularly in Mannheim,
Pros:

This is my second stay at the property. The location is perfect- central Mannheim, with east transit connections. Rooms are clean, spacious and very well equipped, especially for a longer stay.
