We had a truly memorable stay at Mullins Grove, a boutique aparthotel just a short stroll from the stunning Mullins Beach. The location is ideal—peaceful yet close to great restaurants like Sea Shed and Pier One, and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The apartments are spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches like fully equipped kitchenettes, large balconies, and comfy beds that made us feel right at home.
The grounds are lush and tranquil, with a lovely pool area that’s perfect for relaxing. We especially appreciated the friendly and attentive staff—Nicole and the team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even accommodating a last-minute flight delay with grace.
Cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and the property offers great amenities including free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and free parking. We also loved the little extras like beach towels and the peaceful garden views from our patio.
While a few guests noted minor issues like limited nearby grocery options and occasional construction noise, these didn’t detract from the overall experience. The apartments are ideal for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a touch of luxury3.
We would absolutely recommend Mullins Grove to anyone visiting Barbados and look forward to returning!

Not so much the properties fault but there is building works going on opposite the complex so the pool can be noisy with machinery.
Arriving to the property after a long flight it might be nice to have a small milk , coffee , tea & sugar just so it tides you over until you can walk to the petrol station or get the bus to the supermarket.
Proximity to Mullins beach
Tired and tatty. Yellow stained lampshades. Dirty headboard. No channels on tv don’t bother trying to get them to work. One teaspoon. No tea towels. 2 Threadbare small towels to last three days. More grove group construction next door so noisy you won’t use the pool

Some problems with aircon and needs a freshen up
The three bedroom apartment was very, very spacious, clean, and had modern finishes. The furniture blended in well with the design and kept the space feeling light and fresh.
The pool is a nice size and the area is very relaxing.
My friends and I had a wondeful weekend there, it was the perfect peaceful get away.
Nicole and Mark ensured that all of our needs were taken care of. Will definitely book my third stay next year.
Proximity to the beach was great and within less than 5 minuets walking distance. Enjoyed the modern aesthetic. Bedding was amazing in the primary suite!! Enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants like Sea Shed and Pier One in Port St-Charles.
It would have been nice to have a few more basic amenities like sugar, kleenex, body wash and lotion. Also access to reusable bags for grocery shopping would have been a nice touch. I would also suggest increasing cleaning from every three days to every two. For a family of four, that was a long time to wait to get clean, dry towels. Construction in front of the hotel upon arrival on our first night lasted well beyond 10pm - but luckily that was the only night it lasted that long. It's unfortunate that there wasn't a washer/dryer in the apartment itself but this was easily remedied with one for the entire building on the upper floor. We had also just come from a different apartment complex the week prior that had an fridge with an automatic ice maker. This might be something to consider when purchasing the next batch of appliances.

Great boutique hotel in a safe location in Mullins. Beaches are not that great on this side, so drove to pebble beach and brownes beach for beach leisure. However, the hotel is near markets and restaurants within walking distance
The hotel doesn't provide enough of the basic essentials when you arrive, no sugar, water, etc. Also, they need to supply more tioletries such as paper towels and toilet paper. Also, cleaning needs to be done every 2 days.
I appreciated the Customer Service where my late check out was facilitated. I do intend to return as I have reason to frequent Barbados.

The wild monkeys daily at 4-5 pm like 10 it was amazing to see on the patio
location was a taxi everywhere bc of distance and safety, roosters at neighbors behind woke me up at 5 am daily but whatever the pool looks better online it needs a revamp and the gym
smelled musty and had no exercise equipment like a treadmill or bike just weights very bummed that a workout couldn’t happen . Another couch in living room would’ve been nice or chair to relax
