Nice and short stay, near the airport, and very close to Eco Park and Mothers Wax Museum.
Pros:

Nice staffs in the restaurant, and at the entryway, housekeeping. Everyone was helpful and friendly with my kids. They kept the toys that was forgotten in the restaurant.

Cons:

Maybe, if only the pool has a baby pool section for the kids.

Spacious room and great lounge but not upto marriott standards
Pros:

the room was spacious and comfortable
the lounge was good (I used for one evening only)
open views from the room were good
house keeping staff was very nice guy (Subhasish if I remember correctly)

Cons:

the staff attitude - one staff asked me to not go to lounge for brekfast as there will be people from marriage group (there was no one in the entire one hour I was there)
There was this incident where in room dining staff pressed the door bell when my room was on DND (we asked for tea at 11:00 PM and he came around 11:30 for delivering and payment. once everything happened he came again around 12ish midnight and knocked the door. Not expect such a thing from Marriott properly)
the common areas smelled of mould. Outside 2715, there was a damp section of carpet that was not attended to for hours together (later they out up some towels)

Pros:

People are Fraud , if not refund the payment I’ll write to Westin Head branch

Cons:

After booking the hotel, they deducted INR 70,000 from my account and informed me that it was a mistake. They assured me that the amount would be refunded within 24 hours.

However, it has now been more than 15 days, and I still have not received the refund. On top of that, they are no longer answering my calls.

Could you please look into this matter and arrange the refund as soon as possible?

This is a decent hotel with a great pool but overpriced rooms and food.
Pros:

This is a prime location for travelers through Kolkata airport. Hotel is clean. Everything runs well. Staff is helpful. They probably have the best pool in the area at this price. If you can get a West facing room high up the tower, the sunset is gorgeous.

Cons:

It is very expensive for what you get. Hotel looks understaffed. The pool was deserted and unmanned at 8 am [pool opening is at 6 am] when we visited. We ordered room service for dinner. Most hotels settle bills during check out. Here, the staff came with a credit card reader while delivering our dinner and payment was upfront. This felt weird. Food was nothing special, especially considering the price. We have visited the restaurants [Nori] at a different date before, they are also overpriced. The lift foyer at our floor did not have AC switched on in the morning. Our keycard got deactivated twice which was corrected immediately but felt bothersome.
