Sherwood Suites

We’ve been a family of four visiting Vietnam annually for vacation for the past 4 years. For our stay in Saigon, we’ve consistently chosen Sherwood Suites. The customer service is impeccable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

We’ve always chosen the two-bedroom grand suite rooms, which are equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and are exceptionally clean, modern, and spacious. The air conditioning is excellent, which is crucial given the hot climate of Saigon. These features make them an ideal choice for families like ours. The staff is consistently pleasant and attentive, ensuring that our stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Breakfast is a highlight of our stay. It’s unlimited and freshly made in-house, providing a delicious start to our day. The swimming pool is covered, and the gym is well-maintained.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Phuc and An at the front desk, as well as Ngoc in the onsite restaurant. They’ve been incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

The location of Sherwood Suites is also a major plus. It’s conveniently located near all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. There’s even a grocery store across the street where we can buy all our local treats and water. They even sell fresh coconuts for just 3 for 50K, which we love to bring back to our room to enjoy.

Overall, Sherwood Suites has consistently exceeded our expectations. The combination of its convenient location, spacious rooms with full kitchen and laundry facilities, excellent service and hospitality, and delicious breakfast makes it the perfect choice for our family vacations. We’re already looking forward to our next stay next year!

We have been to Saigon every year the past 4 years and this place is considered the best and most fitting for us. I just can’t believe this place exists in the middle of the city. Location is more quiet and pretty and shady as well as the street conditions are very favorable for my husband’s wheelchair. At the corner there is a big coop supermarket that has everything you want. The studio is extremely well maintained with a kitchen and everything is spotless including kitchenware.
What is the most pleasurable and memorable is the service the staff gave us. So respectful and caring towards guests especially older and disabled like my husband. An, Truong, Phuc, Quang are always courteous and respectful and ready to help. Phúc especially he goes out of his way to assist my husband. They have a nice gym and swimming pool and if you walk through the back door you can get to Pasteur street side and catch a free shuttle to the District 1 Saigon district or catch the new Metro to Mega Mall at the Opera stop. The breakfast staff is also very nice. Breakfast is good. Pho is really tasty can tell beef flavor in the broth and not just the artificial seasoning.

My family and I stayed in Sherwood Suites for a full week. It had been a wonderful experience. The location of this hotel is perfect. Benh Thanh market, Dinh Doc Lap (Independence Palace) and War Museum are all in walking distance. Many great restaurants are also nearby, you have a grocery store and a GS25 store (open 24 hrs) right across the street. If you are a sucker for Pho or ice coffee like me, then you just need to cross the street and you will find the best Pho Gà and Cafe sua dá.
The hotel has a big swimming pool and whirlpool which are very clean and most importantly very safe. We have two kids and swimming pool is always the first thing we check because we have seen swimming pool with electric wires dangling under water but not in this hotel. The room we stayed in was very spacious and very clean. Furnitures are new, the kitchen has everything you need and our room has a washer and dryer. You have a dining table where you can sit with the whole family and eat. It has two bathrooms wich are very clean and they stay always clean thanks to the cleaning staff. The atmosphere of this Hotel is amazing and very welcoming. Hotel guests are very nice, polite and civilized. The cleaning staff, the receptionist, the servers, the bell boys and the securities of this hotel are very friendly and professional. They all provide us with best service one can hope for.
Noise level in Ho Chi Minh City is very high every morning and through out the day but do NOT worry because this hotel has very thick windows built in so you won’t hear much.
In terms of value, it is in our opinion by far the best hotel you will find in this location. My family like this hotel so much that we have decided to come back next year but this time we will stay longer than 7 days.

We’ve stayed here many times over the past years and every time has been a great stay. The staff are very courteous and polite and addresses all our needs and reception and concierge is exceptionally attentive. We will definitely be returning again in the future. Great location in District 3. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly, always willing to help and accommodate our needs.

The best part was without a doubt, the staff. While the room was exceptional, it was the staff that made my stay incredible. From the bellman to the front desk everyone was great. They exceeded my expectations. Every one went out of their way to not only help but go beyond what was expected. Quan at the front desk always had a smile and bent over backwards on every request. I would and will stay there again!

Attention to detail. Beautiful and roomy. The breakfast was amazing.

We stayed here for 10 nights overall in a 2 bedroom grand suite. The room had street view & was very comfortable with a separate study, large kitchen & laundry with washer & dryer which was very convenient as the weather was very hot so we could wash our clothes every day.
The hospitality at this hotel is respectful & efficient. The room was cleaned in the morning & refreshed in the afternoon. Le Café menu has a mix of Vietnamese & Western food, coffee/tea, juices, smoothies, etc. The staff including chefs were very helpful & accommodating. The door staff, Mr Tân, Quang & Thắng were respectful, welcoming & helpful.
The hotel is in a convenient location with supermarkets & restaurants nearby. Travel to the city centre is easy with Grab.
One thing we were not aware of is the compulsory security deposit of VND 1million per day which was VND 10 million over our 10-day stay. This amount was not refunded upon checkout, or even a few days after checkout. Travellers should be aware this can take a while so the $ is not available for shopping, etc. This is the disappointing aspect of this hotel.

We had a great stay at Sherwood Suites! The room was spacious, very clean, and perfect for our family.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming, but we’d especially like to thank An, Thu, and Tan for taking such good care of us. They were always kind, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel with great service, we’d definitely recommend Sherwood Suites. We’d happily stay here again!

The staff at Sherwood Suite Saigon are very helpful. As a long-term foreign guest, I recently experienced a motorcycle malfunction that caused me to be late for work. When Mr. Phat, a security guard at the hotel, saw that my motorcycle wouldn't start, he immediately contacted a repair shop to send technician to the hotel to fix it, allowing me to ride my motorcycle to work smoothly. Besides, the front desk staffs are also very kindly immediately inform me about the repair result.
I am very grateful to Mr. Phat and the front desk staffs for their very kind help, which solved a great problem for me.

The rooms were very spacious and modern, we really loved our stay here. Facilities were great and the staff were very friendly.
