I had requested an early check-in through Booking.com. While I understand that early check-in is subject to availability, I felt that little effort was made to accommodate the request.
I returned to the hotel after 3:00 pm, which I was told was the official check-in time. However, it appeared that my room was still not ready. As I had already completed the check-in process earlier, I only needed to collect my room key. Despite this, I had to wait while the receptionist made several phone calls. When I asked whether there was an issue, I was told that a final check was being conducted to ensure everything in the room was perfect before handing over the key. However, after several more calls and a last-minute room number change, it seemed likely that the room was not actually ready at that time.
My concerns were reinforced when I found a mobile phone left behind next to the TV in the room, something that should have been noticed during cleaning. In addition, the bathroom sink was still wet and contained water, suggesting that housekeeping had only recently finished.
Unfortunately, the room conditions were also disappointing. The room was very warm upon arrival, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly in either room. A staff member had to attend and clean the filters before the units began working normally.
I work in customer service myself and understand that unexpected issues can occur. What matters most is how they are handled. Honest communication, a sincere apology, and appropriate efforts to resolve the situation go a long way in maintaining customer trust. In this case, I felt that the communication was not as transparent as it could have been.
Fortunately, this was only a short stay before a late-night flight. Had this been a longer family holiday, the experience would have had a much greater impact on our trip.
Location is convenient and the staffs are nice
Check-in process is very slow. I arrived at 3 PM but I just got the rooms at 4 PM. Although, the check-in time is 3 PM. It is Saturday but it should not be such slow with 5 star hotel

The location
The breakfast was not good. Some unhelpful staff. Room was very small. And it's a very large hotel with 40 floors so can be waiting a while to grab a elevator. Swimming pool closes early and also the bar. Overall the hotel seemed to be a soulless experience.

객실이 청결하고 위치가 좋았다.
체크인 하는 데 두 시간 넘게 걸리고 체크아웃도 한시간 가까이 걸림.
호텔이 커서 단체가 몰리면 어쩔 수 없다지만 20년 해외 여행 경력 중 이렇게 체크인 오래 걸리는 곳도 처음 본다. 체크인이 꽉 밀렸는데 지나가던 숙박객이 질문하면 끝도 없이 응대해 주는 직원을 보니 왜 오래 걸리는 지 알 것 같았다. 시설이나 위치, 직원의 친절함 등은 만족스러웠으나 체크인 무서워서 다시 못갈 듯 하다.
-부킹닷컴에 아쉬운 점
:예약 당시 부킹닷컴 페이지 오류로 아동 1인 비용이 누락되어 상담원과 상담 후 현장에서 아동 1인 비용을 지불하고 영수증을 첨부하면 환불해주기로 약속함
->막상 호텔에 도착하니 호텔측은 이 상황 전혀 모르고 있고 심지어 아동 1의 비용뿐만 아니라 금액이 하나도 지불되어 있지 않다고 함. 한국에서 통화한 상담사가 말했던 금액과 실제 인보이스 금액도 달랐음. 부킹닷컴 예약 시 카드 정보 제공했지만 결제 하나도 안되어 있고 호텔측은 부킹닷컴에 확인하라는 말만 함. 해외에서 부킹닷컴 콜센터 전번 찾기 나무 어려워 메일로 겨우 소통했고 부킹닷컴은 호텔측과 상의했다 하는데 막상 호텔은 부킹닷컴에 들은 거 없다 함.
- 체크인 대기줄도 길었는데 막상 체크인 하려니 상담원이 말해준 것과 전부 달라 누구 말이 맞는 지도 모르겠고 너무 지치더군요.. 예약 시 생긴 문제는 부킹닷컴에서 좀 더 세심하게 처리해주는 것이 맞다고 봅니다. 체크인하면서 진을 다 빼서 사진 한 장 찍지도 못했네요...
