Staff, food and accommodation were all excellent providing great value for money, wholly recommend.
Esther and her team clearly put a lot of thought in to making guests feel welcome, comfortable and looked after.
Would have preferred a more remote, rural location, but there is so much beautiful countryside on the doorstep that this wasn't really an issue.

Didn’t have breakfast
The floor in the room was disgusting, my sock were covered in human hair, it was obvious the floor hadn’t been swept.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating - they provided breakfast for me before opening hours on a Sunday as I was running the Great North Run today, which was so kind of them! The food in the restaurant was fresh and tasty and the location and room were very pleasant. Thank you for your warm hospitality - would highly recommend!
The staff very friendly. The rooms were spotless and very well appointed. We had a evening meal as well which was fantastic well cooked and lovely portion size.

Warm welcome, staff are friendly, thoughtful and helpful… I loved the massive bed and the bathroom is amazing.. nice big bath with a really powerful shower.. facilities brilliant.. sauna and hot tub great..
There is a slight smell of damp. The breakfast was terrible.. 😞 mould on the bread and my muffin was solid. I was so disappointed.. when I checked out no one at reception so I couldn’t feedback..

Everyone was so lovely and welcoming.
Fire exit lights in the bedroom. Glowing green light. Only very small but lit up the bedroom so it was difficult to sleep.
