Beautiful serene place. The breakfast was excellent.
El personal, la limpieza y la ubicacion
Todo muy bien
We had an amazing stay at Centuria Wild Resort, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, while the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
A special thank you to the General Manager, Mr. Damitha, whose kindness and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. As vegetarians, we were touched by the extra effort he made to arrange delicious traditional Sri Lankan vegetarian curries for our breakfast. They were absolutely authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, and we really enjoyed every meal. His humble nature and genuine care for guests truly stood out and made us feel at home.
We highly recommend Centuria Wild Resort to anyone looking for excellent hospitality, delicious food, and a peaceful getaway in Sri Lanka. We can’t wait to visit again!
Excellent resort to stay if you do a safari to see elephants and to visit the elephant orphanage. Location is great, they have an excellent swimming pool to relax and rooms are large and clean. Staff is very helpful and the manager Damitha makes sure that all guests feel comfortable.
Everthing was great!
Fantastic hotel with incredibly friendly and attentive staff, and truly breathtaking views.
We stayed for two nights, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay.
My wife celebrated her birthday while we were there, and the hotel made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a beautiful birthday cake, sang happy birthday, and decorated our room with lovely birthday decorations. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the day extra special.
From the rooftop terrace, you have stunning views over the national park. At sunset, we watched wild elephants, deer, and other wildlife while enjoying a chilled glass of wine, and our children loved their delicious milkshakes.
We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would happily stay here again.
Breathtaking views over Udawalawe. Beautiful natural setting right next to the national park — perfect for an early safari morning. Our waiter Asanka was exceptionally warm and hardworking, doing his absolute best to make our stay memorable.
The property is showing its age and is in need of renovation. Rooms and facilities could use a refresh to match the quality of the location.
AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️
Relaxing afternoon by the pool then up to the roof to watch the sunset over Udawalawe National Park with a cold beverage.
Very clean relaxing with beautiful staff and amazing amenities
Shop , pool , gym and massages are available
Thank you Asanka for your amazing service on our stay 😁
The service from the staff was exceptional. They reached out before our stay to determine any needs or special requests and assisted us in arranging a safari during our stay. Mr Damitha, Hotel GM had reached out in advance of our stay and he made sure his team was providing the service we needed during our stay.
There is some deferred capital maintenance items that should be looked at into. The hotel should consider adding an elevator to make visits easier for those with mobility issues.
Our stay was truly exceptional, made even more memorable by the outstanding hospitality of the team. A special mention goes to Mr. Damitha, the Resident Manager, whose warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From accommodating special requests to going above and beyond to make us comfortable, his dedication was remarkable. The beautiful surroundings, stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and attentive staff created a wonderful experience for our family. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again in the future.
The evenings were a little unsettling, as there was no staff present at the reception. Perhaps a slightly larger team would enhance the overall environment...
Muy bueno el personal
Las instalaciones eran un poco viejas
No es un 5 estrellas
We stayed with our family at the reservoir. Which was amazing. Extreme hostmenship by all staff. Mr Damitha, the resident manager did everything he could to accommodate us. Late breakfast after a safari was key for him to fix for us. Nothing was asked to much.
Nothing, all was simple perfect. The Gym was a bit hot and not elevators in the building, but they will fix that in future.
We had a wonderful stay at Centuria Wild in Sri Lanka. The accommodation has a traditional, slightly older charm, which really adds to the authentic experience of being surrounded by nature.
What truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service. The staff, and especially the manager Damitha, treated us with genuine courtesy and respect, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable.
Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the lake, which made for a peaceful and relaxing setting. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool due to returning late from our safari, it looked pleasant and inviting. We were also impressed with the gym facilities—the space was generous, with more than enough equipment to enjoy a proper workout.
Overall, a memorable stay with warm hospitality that really made a difference.
The manager, Damitha, was warm and welcoming and went out of his way to ensure our stay was everything we needed it to be. We appreciated his attention to detail.
We treated ourselves to a room with a view over the lake in Udawalawe National Park. The room was huge, the view from the verandah was so good we saw deer, wart hogs and yes an elephant having a bath. You do need binoculars to see really well. Damitha the manager was great and I pre organised our safari with him over booking.com messages. Brilliant and even a packed lunch as we missed breakfast with the early start. There is a rooftop that even if you have a garden view room you can go up to anytime and see the lake and most spectacular sunsets ever. Damitha’s team of staff were amazing and the restaurant with local and western delights was great. We cooled off in their lovely pool ever afternoon. You could tuk tuk to town but seriously this is all about nature and they had it all by having a hotel with a view.
