The location was fantastic; walk to Ichitani Munataka-Jinja shrine, Horin-ji temple, Arashiyama monkey park, restaurants, bamboo forest. The junior suite was the definition of simple luxury. Excellent for our family of 4. We opted for the included breakfast which was delicious. Staff were kind and incredibly helpful.

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. There was free water, coffee, and hot chocolate in the reception area.
The room was amazing and there was a handwritten note welcoming us, which was a nice touch. The room was big and clean. The bathroom was big and spacious and there was a full bathtub to have a bath. The toiletries were top notch- from Public Organic. We all enjoyed using them because the aromatherapy helped with relaxation.
The beds and futons were very comfortable and we all slept well.
The hotel provided breakfast, but we did not try it. However, we had friends that stayed there at the same time as us and had breakfast- they said it was very good.
There were only two downsides. First, there is is not a comfortable seating area where you can sit and watch TV. The room needs a small couch or comfortable chairs to sit in to relax. Second, the hotel is located in the Arashiyama area. Because it's not a central area, it took a lot more time to get around Kyoto. This being said, I would not hesitate to stay here again! If you want a nice quiet place to stay, don't hesitate to book this place.
There was no comfortable place to sit and relax while watching TV.
We stayed in a family apartment which was huge. Fantastic staff, comfy beds, good location.

Great location, the rooms were spacious, well thought out and comfortable.
お部屋が広々としていて子どもたちも嬉しそうでした。また、朝食も美味しく、案内された席が個室だったので子ども連れでもゆっくりと食べられました。
歩いての嵐山観光にもとても便利な場所でした。
Beautiful, spacious, comfortable rooms and very family friendly giving us blocks and a kids room for breakfast so they can play. Lovely staff and close to the various bamboo forests & Buddhist temples.
A bit far from central areas but you can get 2 trains
The room was large and it was within an easy walk to the bamboo forest. The staff were friendly. Good to have a coffee machine in the lobby.
Location...this was my own fault for not checking how far out of the city and far away it is from other main attractions in kyoto. The furnishings in the room need a big rethink...we had a Junior Suite which had two enormous super king beds on the floor (not futons) but only a tiny children's size table to eat at, and a lounge that was small and not at all comfortable, no coffee table. If you had more than two people this room would not be suitable. All the windows are covered so you cant see outside..made me feel shut in!! The cooking facilities are a microwave and one hot plate and zero preparation space...you wont be cooking meals here, more reheating at best. With better furnishings this room would be hugely improved!

A beautiful, huge room. Very friendly staff and a warm inviting lobby. Location with a lot of sightseeing and restaurants close by.

Недоделанность отделки номера - бетонные потолки и стены. Нет никакой тумбочки у входа, приходилось все складывать на полу - ключи, сумки. Нет в номере тарелок и приборов.
Location was perfect quiet and walking distance to everything. The staff were amazing. Don't miss the lovely roof top for the views and cute little teepee. Parking was close and free.
