Nice design, great location for shopping, great gym and good size of rooms.

Good front desk service, but the breakfast was poor. Shocked that housekeeping entered my room without notice during my one-night stay just to prepare the tea and do a quick clean

I had a frustrating experience during my stay at the hotel. One night, I was waiting at the front desk for the staff to assist me. However, they were preoccupied with their tasks for over five minutes and didn't acknowledge my presence. It wasn't until another customer arrived that the staff finally attended to them, even though I had been waiting longer. Eventually, I had to approach the staff myself to request service, which felt quite frustrating. I understand that they might have been busy, but it seemed as if they simply didn't notice that I was waiting.

Additionally, I was unhappy with how the hotel charged a deposit to my credit card on the day of my check-in without any prior notification. I was unaware that it was a deposit and initially thought my credit card had been stolen or hacked. I almost called the bank to block my card due to this unexpected charge.

Both of these issues strike me as unprofessional. Even when I raised my concerns with the staff, their attitude suggested that they didn't take it seriously. This level of service does not warrant a good rating.

On a positive note, the other aspects of my stay were satisfactory, but I did notice that the hallways were consistently hot, which was uncomfortable.

Best hotel in shanghai with good value and outstanding service. The front desk Joy is really helpful, informative, knowledgeable and speak fluent english. The room very spacious, good ambiance and comfortable. No smoking smell at all. Strategic location, connecting to HKRI mall. Excellent breakfast choice. Im very pleasant to stay here and had great experience. Wanna back again on my next trip to shanghai.

Great location, great food, and room was awesome! Huge shower was great after a swim. Perfect place for a Shanghai staycation. My son's favorite restaurant is close by and we really enjoyed the holiday downtown.

Not small rooms, Great greeting at the front. Great location. (It is not exactly in the center of famous tourist attractions, but it was charming for me. less crowded). On the other hand, lack of variety of food at breakfast.

Overall, I was generally satisfied with the facilities and experience provided by the hotel. The customer service prior to my arrival was fantastic, and the staff were extremely helpful with restaurant bookings and arranging bike hire. I truly appreciate their assistance and hospitality. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the wellness facilities, including the steam room, sauna, and swimming pool, were a great addition to the stay.

The location was peaceful while being central. Our room was on the higher floor. The bed was very comfortable, the shower and bed were great. We enjoyed having a coffee in the room before partaking into the wonderful breakfast.

Overall, the hotel offers strong customer service, an excellent location, and impressive wellness facilities such as a pool, sauna, and steam room. Staff were particularly helpful with arrangements like restaurant bookings and bike hire, which enhanced the stay. However, there were several operational issues that affected the experience, including the steam room being out of order, lack of staff presence in the changing rooms, and poorly located amenities. In addition, the coffee and tea machine was consistently unavailable during breakfast, beverage options after dinner were limited, and some basic drink preparation services were not met to a 5-star standard. While the hotel promotes certain facilities such as a running track, the lack of accessible information from reception made this difficult to use in practice.

This hotel offers an excellent location, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport options.

room was fantastic and clean and well maintained. however the service team were not very helpful when in need of assistance and not flexible. for the price we paid, and under the GHA group, i was expecting a better experience after much more positive experiences in other GHA group properties like Capella.

Big rooms , clean , comfortable sleep. The hotel is next to tai Koo li mall which has plenty of eating options . We liked the location . There is big gym and indoor pool.
