Wunderbares Hotel in Toplage.
Pros:

Absolut top-geführtes Hotel in bester Lage. Das Personal war aufmerksam und die Executive Zimmer ganz besonders geschmackvoll. Schwimmbad und Gym im Haus.

Es war wie eine ruhige Oase inmitten der lebendigen Stadt von Shanghai.
Pros:

Tolle geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit sehr gemütlichen Betten, in der Früh und abends wird das Zimmer gereinigt und hergerichtet. Wunderschöner Blick. Es war insgesamt ein wahnsinnig toller Aufenthalt.

Very good location, comfortable bed, noisy bathroom
Pros:

The room was fine, very comfortable beds, enough space to put away things etc. The hotel has a very good gym and a huge pool for real swimming, please be aware that you need to bring a swimming cap or buy their extremely overpriced one. The staff generally speaks good English so communication was fine. Location wise it's perfect, a super good mall right next to it with lots of options for eating, and easy for cabs to drive anywhere.

Cons:

Breakfast in Chinese 5 star hotels is generally overpriced, so we always go out for breakfast, or order room service breakfast à la carte. This hotel did not offer this option, but luckily there is a very good mall right next to it, with lots of good options. While the room was generally very comfortable, with a great bed, a big shower and a a tub, note that it's a "no privacy bathroom" room. In this case, only a mirror separating the sleeping area from the basin/toilet area, meaning that going to the loo in the middle of the night will wake up your partner (somewhat noisy Japanese style automated).

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at The Sukhothai Shanghai. The hotel is stylish, modern and very comfortable, with beautifully designed rooms and a high standard of cleanliness.

The pool was spacious enough to actually swim proper laps, which was greati. The location is also very convenient, right next to a large shopping mall and the impressive Starbucks Reserve Roastery.

Overall, a very comfortable and stylish hotel in a great location. We would happily stay here again.

It’s odd to face all that issues in Sukhothai.
Pros:

Location, room and breakfast

Cons:

Services were very poor: no basic amenities like sewing kit to hem trousers or nail file. Laundry was proposed every day but quality was poor they returned my shirt back unmaintened.
Room maintained poorly: floor is dirty, lots of dust everywhere.
Reception was unhelpful: I faced an issue with my flight and they sent me to solve it on my own knowing that airline was Chinese and not providing any assistance in English. I asked to extend stay because of the weather and they did, but they forgot to extend my keys.
But they charged me for two b/w printed pages for 7 rmd, I never faced it before.

All that small details spoiled all impressions of our stay.

Cons:

本次有遇到淋浴架鬆掉以及浴缸旁邊排水孔吐水問題, 有反應過有安排人員過來處理, 不過問題仍然存在, 排水孔吐水有稍微減緩, 淋浴鬆掉問題沒有改善, 建議安排修繕師傅做個檢查

fantastic place to stay, superb location connected to HKRI Taikoo Hui shopping mall, lot of restaurants and cafes close by, changle road is close by, superb service and ask for JOY HE if you need assistance with reservations / shopping / information, she was brilliant.
