Great location, Tired hotel.
Pros:

Location and outside of hotel was very nice and close to the town but not too close.

Cons:

Room was tired and dusty, really needs a refurbishment all round to modernise the rooms. The kettle had a strange yellowing mark across the top which wiped off, and the hair dryer was yellow through age.

Charming place in a great location
Pros:

It’s a beautiful building in a perfect location. The was parking and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The room was very large with a fantastic seaview and a very comfortable large bed

Would not recommend in any month that might be warmer...as most rooms do not have AC.
Pros:

Not much. The parking was good for cars and no extra charge.

Cons:

NO air conditioning in room or hotel restaurant or public areas!! It was horribly hot and the staff didn't have enough fans for everyone in rooms. I had to wait a full day for a fan. Windows didn't open more than 4 inches. No one seemed to take a sense of urgency given the high heat and never put fans into the restaurant areas. NOT a four star...maybe a 3 as the view from front patio is of the water.

I loved my stay here, I will definitely go back.
Pros:

The location is fantastic, the garden and view are amazing with sea view. The staff were lovely as well. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom towels were excellent quality, a rare thing when you stay away. The breakfast was really good. The starters on evening menu were lovely, the cheese soufflé was really good.

Cons:

The veg with the evening meal, in our opinion, did not go too well. Collection of plates from garden tables was very slow.

Overall an okay stay. Likely wouldn’t stay again for this price
Pros:

Really great location if looking for something slightly out the busyness of the city centre. Very picturesque property with lovely outdoor space. Sea views from the room were lovely

Cons:

We stayed in a room directly above the restaurant which meant from approx 6-9pm it was extremely loud from the restaurant music. Asked for it to be turned down slightly but still very loud so not ideal if looking for a quiet stay during these hours.

Not very many comfortable places to relax outside of your room. Would be nice to have more cosier sofas/chairs to relax if the weather isn’t nice to sit outside.

Room was clean but other areas felt like they could do with a clean, carpets especially.

Very enjoyable will visit the hotel again
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Table service which l liked.All staff were very friendly.Nothing was to much trouble.Will definitely visit again. Close to the pier a local park and the shops were within walking distance.
