Pros:

Got moved to suite as original room had no fan or kettle. Have stayed in the suite before and it’s very nice and quiet.

Very handily positioned for visiting family in St Helens
Pros:

The breakfast was good.

Cons:

We stayed three nights (Thursday to Sunday) and on both the Friday and Saturday the room was not made up.

There was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, and only one hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang towels - there is plenty of space to put some hooks on the wall by the window, but there were none.

Pros:

Being ignored at check in. The bar was busy on arrival and I was asked 3 times if I was being served!

Cons:

The bar was very busy with few,staff on. The manager was very stressed and overwhelmed .
