Pros:

I loved the location. It is perfect for solo travellers. The room for one person is small, but cosy. I also liked the fact that this was the only hotel I stayed in Iceland where actually you can have a human relation with the reception. If you check in late you ring the bell at the door and a person gives you instructions. Everywhere else you enter a ghost place with some codes which you can easily forget when you are tired and this way can easily lock yourself out. This is something widespread in Iceland which I hate very much.

Ideal position, very basic accommodation. A little dated.
Pros:

Position is on the Main Street close to all shops and restaurants. Parking station handy two doors down .
On the upside the room was cleaned and new towels everyday.
If your after a really basic room and in the Main Street with parking close by this could be the place for you.
Park in P2 areas free from 9pm - 9am. Parking station near hotel is only 140- 160 isk per hour.

Cons:

Very inconspicuous entrance shared with a bubble tea cafe, whose owners seem to take offence when asked a question about the hotel, which does no favour to the reputation of the hotel.
The beds were very poor, old mattress and thin. Can’t even watch tv from one of the beds. Tiny bathroom, no toilet roll holder, sink in the way of the toilet. No fridge or tea or coffee to use. Reception mainly unattended.

Cons:

Bathroom lacked a good place to hang wet towels. One small towel rack above a shelf area where toiletries could be stored, but hanging wet towels here would cover up access to toiletries. Not a very functional design. It would be easy enough for the hotel to add towel hooks to the wall next to sink. I had to hang my wet towels on the wooden rack outside the bathroom. This meant moving my coat to hang on the entry door.

Also the only time a person was at the front desk was when I checked in - it was empty the rest of the time. Also I messaged them during my stay about the bathroom situation and my message was never responded to. I did see the housekeeping staff and they were kind enough to provide me with additional dry towels.

Centrally located Reykjavik pit stop.
Pros:

Excellent location next to the airport transfer bus. Spotlessly clean .Comfy beds. Close to excellent food hall.

Cons:

Disembodied voice check in. Open shower curtain not effective. Shower gel sachets not great

Viešbutis pačiame Reikjaviko centre. Tvarkingas kambarys, patogumai numeryje. Įsiregistruojant nereikėjo jokio personalo, numerio rakto kortelė buvo palikta registratūroje. Įėjimas į viešbutį tik paskambinus prie durų ir padiktavus kambario numerį, kurį gavome iš anksto atsiųsta žinute per booking.

Cons:

Galėtų būti galimybė užsisakyti pusryčius. Bet tai nėra didelė problema, nes kambaryje yra virdulys ir arbatos, o aplinkui daug kavinukių.

There's not too much confort but it's ok to pass a few days for a fair price.

The location is awesome, and everything was clean. The room is very basic, and the bathroom is small. Everything works; it's just very simple and small. There's not too much confort but it's ok to pass a few days for a fair price. There's no one in the reception to help you if you needed but they stay in touch via WhatsApp, which works, but I prefer someone in person.

Cons:

The reception is a little bit strange because there is a bubble tea store in the same space, and the lights at the reception and the stairs are dim.
