Peaceful and not a large commercial chain
Pros:

Location is great, a little away from the hustle of the main shopping strip of Sanur, and beach, but the free shuttle service is great. It means you can come to the peace and quiet,
The resort is beautifully maintained and the service staff are some of the best we have ever experienced. Compliments to the resorts quality in every aspect.
We would definitely return!

Pros:

We had the best experience staying at Alantara Sanur. Our 5 month old baby enjoyed his time to the maximum!!

Best stay in Bali so far!
Pros:

Great Time
Pros:

Lovely rooms, relaxing hotel, great staff. Edy, Pande, Bayu and Dewi were amazing!

We had the romantic dinner which we would recommend to anyone. Also really enjoyed the Balinese buffet and cultural dance night. Both meals were excellent.

Crossing the bypass is also doable if you are mobile enough and are a bit street smart and can be patient enough to wait for the right moment. We did it multiple times when we wanted to walk into town instead of catching the bus.

We love The Alantara
Pros:

This is our second time staying at The Alantara and it was as wonderful as the first time we stayed. This time we brought our 3 adult children plus partners to celebrate my upcoming 65th birthday and they had a ball. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast plentiful and the pool area the best we have experienced. You do have to be prepared to walk the 20 minutes in the heat to the beach boardwalk but we don't mind that since the resort is perfect. We're going to stay here again next Bali trip.
