Excellent séjour
Pros:

Deuxième fois que nous venons dans cet établissement. Le rapport qualité prix est toujours très bon. Très bien placé, au cœur du vieux quartier. Le personnel est toujours aussi attentionné et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien avec beaucoup de choix.

Stanze spaziose e pulite. Ottima anche la colazione. Il personale è stato molto efficiente nell’organizzare transfer o gite ( Ha long bay) ed è stato davvero da supporto .

Lively area - great value
Pros:

We had a fantastic time at Nostalgia. It’s well located in the old quarter at the bottom end of beer street - it’s lively and a comfort walk to the lake, night market, cafes and restaurants.
We had a small balcony overlooking the street and with double glazing on the windows much of the street noise is blocked out. The pool was a real bonus for a hotel in this price range.
The staff were friendly and very welcoming- nothing is a bother.
For the price this hotel in the old quarter really delivers 🇻🇳🇦🇺

Cons:

Piscine froide durant les 6 jours.
Personnel très peu accueillant hormis une dame agréable.
Et surtout hôtel extrêmement bruyant, nous avons dû demander à changer de chambre apres une premiere nuit épouvantable même avec des boules quies ( karaoke dans la rue).
Tarif pour accéder plus tôt à une chambre : 1 200 000 de dongs .

Petite oasis bienvenue !
Pros:

L'emplacement au bord de la rivière, au calme, la grande piscine, le beau jardin, bien entretenu. L'accueil très agréable et zen, les conseils et l'accompagnement. Le prêt de vélo, pratique pour se rendre dans le centre, belle promenade pour s'y rendre.

Exceptional home away from home
Pros:

We had such a wonderful stay here and would absolutely book again.

Before we even arrived, Lu reached out to us and organised the Ancient Family Connecting Rooms, which were perfect for our family of five. It made everything so easy from the start and was such a thoughtful touch.

The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the Old Quarter, so we could walk everywhere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice each morning and was a great way to start the day.

The biggest highlight was definitely the staff, especially Lu. She is one of those people who genuinely cares about her guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always greeted us with a smile. By the end of our stay, she felt more like family than hotel staff, and we were genuinely sad to say goodbye.

There is a little noise from the nearby pub at night, but that’s to be expected when you’re staying in such a lively part of the Old Quarter. It certainly didn’t stop us from getting a good night’s sleep.

Thank you to Lu and the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back.

Friendly, good location, lots of choice closeby, quiet time at back of hotel.
Pros:

Enjoyed our stay at this friendly, well located hotel. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, close to shops, restaurants and a shirt walk to Sword Lake. Pool was refreshing in the balmy heat.

Rigtig fint hotel i Hanoi
Pros:

Super fint hotel tæt på alt. Fint værelse med balkon. Jeg frygtede larm fra gaden - og ja det var lidt larm, men det var bestemt ok ift den gode beliggenhed.

Cons:

Morgenmaden var meget vietnamesiske retter men der var æg, toast og noget frugt. Madrassen var lidt hård - men kunne fint finde på at komme der igen.
