Location was terrific. Close to most of not all points of interest. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant to work with.
One particular worker (forgot the name); on Sunday 8/23 worked full breakfast shift helping with breakfast area stations and was still there late evening as the bartender covering for someone else. He was still very engaging and pleasant taking care of us. Lo and behold, he was there next day early 8/24 to work breakfast crowd, and it’s always a huge crowd!

Comfortable self contained suites at a good price. The complimentary breakfast was good quality and the staff were terrific. There was a train station and grocery store only a short walk away.
It’s in an area that doesn’t have much choice of restaurants nearby.

Extreme rigidity, awful customer service, and $400+ in avoidable losses!
I stayed here on Aug 18, 2026. After checking out on the morning of the 19th, I left my car in the hotel garage to visit the city. At around 7:00 PM, I realized I had misplaced my car key (most likely left in the room) and went straight to the front desk for assistance.
The night staff was completely unhelpful and indifferent. He repeatedly claimed he had "no authority" to access the Lost & Found, refused to check the room, and would not even call the housekeeping team or day manager. Left with zero support, I was stranded in the parking lot and had to pay $400 for an emergency locksmith, which took 3 hours and delayed my drive home to Vancouver until 11:00 PM (arriving at nearly 2:00 AM).
To add insult to injury, friends of mine checking out the next day asked again—and the key was indeed found, but staff refused to give it to them. When I filled out the Lost & Found form, the hotel demanded $80 for shipping to return my own key.
Zero empathy, rigid regulations over basic customer care, and a completely unacceptable failure to support guests. Avoid this hotel if you value service or accountability.
Front desk service, crisis management, and guest support. The night staff lacked basic problem-solving skills and empathy, refusing to check Lost & Found or contact housekeeping when I lost my key. Furthermore, the policy of charging $80 to mail back a lost key after causing a $400 locksmith fee due to their inaction is completely unreasonable.
