Most over priced hotel I ever visited in over 250 global trips

Cons:

The most overpriced hotel I have ever visited in over 250 trips globally. Over $600 US for a room that was so small it could only fit 2 single beds and no chairs. It had peeling wallpaper. While no view was stipulated-the only window looked out on a mud garden 2 ft from the window. All of this is ok for a room that cost less than $250US. The hotel says their pricing is competitive with other Skye accomodations. I doubt it. The only thing they said that was true when I asked them about this is that accommodations on Skye are limited. I don't think that should allow these people to gouge visitors. Charge a fair price and sell out. PS one can stay almost anywhere else in Scotland in 4 star rooms for less than 2/3's of this cost. Bunchrew in Inverness and the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton for instance. Skye is great but It may require staying elsewhere.

Si tens sort, un encert.

Van esmenar l’error de reserva de seguida i ens van fer un upgrade realment substanciall per la nostra estada, més acord amb la reserva. El personal de recepció és pacient i comprensiu. La localitzaci´ño inmillorable.

Cons:

El servei de restaurant , especialment l’esmorçar és a la carta i triguen molt. Ens van fer perdre molt de temps els dos dies. Han de fer una millora del procediment i demanar l’esmorçar la niot abans per tenir una bona experència com altres llocs. No van ser empàtics en no voler estar més de 40’ esperant . Sense la bona habitació gran amb el llit de mida KIng l’estada hagués estat molt cara i de pesima qualitat preu. La illa de Sky mereix relax per descansar i prendre forces i l’habiatció petita no cobreix l’espectativa.
No es pot esperar una sala on estar, si un bon bar molt animat. Millor sopar fora i anar a fer la copa al bar.

Loved the staff, the restaurant, location, room. Electrical, heat and lighting issues were hard.
Pros:

Large comfortable room and beds, good shower. Great restaurant and location .

Cons:

Heaters were hard to manage, shower very sensitive, some of the lights didn’t work, problems with electrical.

Lovely hotel with amazing views. Lack of parking can be an issue.
Pros:

Very clean. Fabulous location with amazing views. We ate at the Dulse and Roth restaurant and the food was beautiful. It was my dad’s 82nd birthday and the staff gave him a card and a candle which was very kind.

Cons:

There is no parking. Although there are some publicly owned spaces in front of the hotel there are no dedicated spaces for guests. This makes it difficult when loading and unloading the car especially if you have some guests with mobility issues. Although there was a parking lot within 300-400 feet, this was accessible via steep steps. The night we stayed was incredibly busy which meant that the bartending staff were slow and not as friendly. All other staff were lovely.

Great place to stop if you need a base to explore the Isle of Skye.
Pros:

The hotel was well placed and the bedroom was very comfortable. Our room looked over the water which made it feel something really special.

Cons:

It’s not the hotels fault but being at the front of the hotel meant we were exposed to deliveries to the local co-op. These started around 4am which made it difficult to sleep.
