There was no breakfast i paid for breakfast without being served
The biggest advantage is the location. It’s very close to the city center and Catania Centrale train and bus station, so you can easily explore everything on foot and return to the hotel whenever you need. There is also a bus stop nearby, making it convenient to get around. The hotel itself is in decent condition, and the staff were always polite and friendly.
At night you can hear the traffic from outside. It wasn’t loud enough to bother me personally—I slept well—but light sleepers might find it a bit noisy. Housekeeping was below average. They only changed my towels, and on the last day they didn’t even do that. The shower water was only lukewarm and never got properly hot. I also saw a mouse running around the shared kitchen, which was definitely unpleasant. On my first night, the air conditioner started leaking and soaked the desk along with my belongings. Thankfully, my phone charger didn’t short-circuit.
Posizione ottima - colazione Non Pervenuta - Ascensore=montacarichi
Only location is good
First of all rude stuff. The bathroom was old and not particularly clean. The elevator was slow, very small, and frequently out of service.
Despite the perfect location for exploring the city on foot and everything being relatively close by in the city center, both the hotel and the room left much to be desired. There were no nearby power outlets (there was one in the bathroom) to charge my phone. The bed was small and uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise from outside. The room was outdated and the decor was unattractive. After making the reservation, I informed them that my flight arrived at midnight, and they charged me an extra €20 for checking in at that hour, in addition to demanding payment in cash upon arrival because "we've already closed today's accounts." I received no invoice or proof of payment. When I arrived at the airport, I told them I would be arriving by bus, which would cost me 6 euros. The receptionist (who I believe is the hotel owner) started speaking to me in a rather unpleasant manner, urging me to take a taxi immediately because she wasn't going to wait for the bus (even though I had already informed her that I would be arriving at that time and in that way). In the end, pressured by her rudeness, I took a taxi, which cost me 43 euros.
I don't recommend this accommodation to anyone, and I would rather sleep at the airport than stay in such a dump again. The young man who works at reception in the morning is very friendly, though.
Host was zeer onvriendelijk.... Geen aanrader. Auto parkeren is een ramp.
Schoonmaak
Outro ponto negativo: a colcha e as cortinas pareciam sujas.
Posizione ottima .
Difficoltà a trovare posteggio.
Ascensore della struttura piccolino
The room was humongous. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. The lady Maria was helpful in showing us how to operate the elevator and the doors.
The hotel was up 3 flights with a teeny elevator. It looked like a hostel. The pictures dod nit reflect what it was really like. It smelled like cigarette smoke. I would not recommend this place at all......
Glad I stayed only one night.
