Good location,near station and buses. We had room 201 ,which was extra .large as its a family room . I x king-size bed and a large single bed. New carpeting.Very comfortable supplied with 2 fans to help cool down. We had use of the large fridge in the downstairs kitchen and utensils, ,which has a microwave oven,if required. I do think that given the size of the room,and being on 2nd floor ,a small fridge in the room,would have been nice.The adjoining Indian restaurant was lovely, as we're the staff. We had takeaway, which was plentiful and delicious. Handy little shop next to restaurant which has basic goods. (Waiting on alcohol licence) but there is a londis garage shop across the road .
Room TV has netflix and prime ,but couldn't get all regular channels.
The stairs were a bit precarious, as they were quite a small tread,but the carpet made it appear bigger. You could see where it had split on the edges,which could cause someone to fall.the shower could do with a support rail,as there is no shower mat,and can get a bit slippery. There was nowhere to get fresh cold.water to refill bottles. No kitchen sink to wash up,unless you used the disable toilet sink.
Good staff and a great value hotel as I was working in the area and will return .. Free parking is a bonus

Used condoms in the car park, rubbish everywhere, steep spiral staircase, mouldy windows and filthy carpets.
Left within 5 mins of checking in and have so far not been refunded despite it being a complete health hazzard
Price
I couldn't check in as nobody was there to check me in. Nobody answered the phone when I tried to call them, nobody responded to Booking messages or emails. I cancelled the booking and I'm still waiting for a refund or even a response from the property. Unbelievably bad customer service!!
Penalty parking
The room was clean and spacey, pleasant bathroom with hot-water shower, We appreciated the kettle, tea and coffee for ready for us to make a nice cuppa. The location is not far from the city centre and harbour. Free parking in the secured yard of the hotel. A very nice and helpful staff.
The only negative matter is the unpleasant connection of the parking lot to the hotel via a bit rusty and dirty, narrow spiral metal staircase.
Nothing much was very simply but dirty needs a renovation
Needs to be cleaned, no hot water, WiFi was terrible and staff were not friendly at all
