Receptionist thought he was being funny, but was rude in making assumptions about us being Greek American. He spent more time wanting to discuss politics, Italian movies and his knowledge of Greek history rather than to think to show us how to actually use the tv or washer. Didn’t bother to show us where the “pool” was. Rather, he discounted it by saying since we are Greek we would appreciate the beach much more than their small, jacuzzi style pool (photos are deceiving). No written instructions for the washer or tv. TV did not work. Owner host claimed it was operator error, since the “receptionist” came the first nite to start it up. But after he left it turned off on its own for bo apparent reason. Again, he spent more time trying to be funny rather than really focus on this issue at hand. We were very appreciative of his helping us carry our luggage on checkin and checkout. However, after he ok’d me taking a photo of him with my husband, he blocked me from entering the car until I texted it to him immediately. He couldn’t wait until I got in the car, even though I told him I wasn’t feeling well. Not a pleasant stay overall.

Non si poteva parlare con nessuno nè di persona nè al telefono, se non con il receptionist che non aveva potere decisionale. Hanno seguito ore ed ore di discussione inutile.

Allereerst de host Giacomo, na veel positieve reviews hadden wij een totaal andere ervaring. Dit begon al bij inchecken waar hij twee uur te laat was. Claimde hierover te hebben gebeld, maar bij onze vraag, kijk maar op onze telefoon, wilde hij er niets van weten. Ook praat hij alleen en luistert hij niet.

Het appartement is erg flatteus gefotografeerd. En is in werkelijkheid erg krakkemikkig.

De watertoevoer maakt een keihard geluid. Er is een drukke weg en een spoorlijn voor de deur.

Volgens Giacomo was het zwembad niet schoon en het werd door hem afgeraden om erin te zwemmen...

Bij het strand staat een bord dat het onveilig is om er in zee te zwemmen.

Hele kleine douche met flink wat schimmel in de hoeken.

While the apartment itself was nice and the area acceptable, the aggressive accusations and threats after checkout completely ruined the experience. The main issue was the front door lock, which worked poorly from the start. On our final night, we struggled to get in. We contacted the property manager and sent a video showing the issue. He arrived shortly after and replaced the entire lock, confirming there was clearly a problem. We checked out on time the next morning and left the apartment very clean and organized. A few hours later, the host messaged claiming the lock damage started with us and suggested there might be “other problems” because he had not inspected the apartment before we left. He then asked us for a perfect 10/10 review, explaining he was trying to win a “best host 2026” contest and that anything lower would hurt him. The following day, he accused us of scratching a marble surface and demanded payment, calling it “intentional” and even threatening to report us to authorities. The photos appeared questionable, and one included an item we never even noticed during our stay. More messages followed, threatening additional costs and claiming we had damaged other furniture as well. At that point, we blocked communication and reported the situation to Booking.com. We would not recommend staying there.

Leider hat wir keinen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Appartmentverwalter, der für die Schlüsselübergabe verantwortlich war, hat seine schlechte Stimmung an uns ausgelassen. Zum Hintergrund, wir hatten bei der Buchung unsere Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt und diese auch Bestätigt bekommen und eine erneute Nachricht am Ankunftstag übersehen, die lautete, man möge 2 Stunden vor Ankunft anrufen, um Wartezeit zu vermeiden. Unser Anruf erfolgte daher erst 30 Minuten vor Ankunft. Leider war "aus technischen Gründen" seitens des Verwalters niemand telefonisch erreichbar und man teilte uns per Nachricht mit, dass er erst in 2 Stunden vor Ort sein könne. Wir wurden nach besagten 2 Stunden sehr unfreundlich fast unverschämt empfangen und haben uns von der ersten Minute unwohl gefühlt. Leider haben wir im Nachgang weitere Nachrichten erhalten, wobei wir ausdrücklich darum baten, die Kommunikation zu beenden. Nun zur Unterkunft, das Appartment ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet, das Schlafzimmer hat leider kein Fenster und die Matrazen waren unterirdisch, man ist regelrecht eingesunken. Der Pool ist klein und eher mit einem größeren Whirlpool zu vergleichen. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht direkt in Cefalu, ohne Auto muss man 25 Euro für das Taxi nach Cefalu mit einrechnen. Zunächst hieß es bei Schlüsselübergabe, das wir die Tür am Abreisetag zuziehen dürfen, 1 Tag später wurde uns mitgeteilt, man möchte das Appartment noch einmal sehen und checken, so dass wir dem Verwalter leider noch einmal gegenübertreten mussten. Wir waren glücklich, hier lediglich 2 Nächte gebucht zu haben und hatten abgesehen davon eine wundervolle Zeit mit tollen Menschen in Sizilien.

isolation phonique des chambres, réveillé très tôt le matin " 7HOO" les voisins " bruit de chaise, de radio, etc ...". Travaux dans la résidence un samedi " coup de marteau des 8hoo du matin". Piscine non fonctionnelle. Et surtout pas le vue prévu dans la location qui indique vue foret ou jardin alors que nous avons eu qu'une vue sur un petit palmier et surtout face à un ascenseur de verre qui était gênant pour notre intimité

Unser Check-in war etwas holprig, weil erst am Tag unserer Ankunft nach der genauen Ankunftszeit gefragt wurde. Da wir auf dem Weg waren , sah ich die Anfrage erst, als wir ankamen und wir mussten lange warten, bis dann jemand kam.
Weder im Schlafzimmer noch im Bad gibt ein Aussen-Fenster , - auch keine Lüftung - nur eine Fenster-Klappe unter der Decke zu einem Schacht . Küchenausstattung mittelmäßig.

This stay was a complete nightmare — the property misled customers about its location, the apartment was disgusting and full of mold and dampness, and it was impossible to stay there safely even for one night.

Le positif l'emporte sur ce qui peut être amélioré. Le lieu correspondait à mes attentes.
