De locatie is prachtig, heerlijke bedden en kussens en chique ontbijt

Cons:

Ik vond de badkamer vloer wel wat viezig en ook tapijt in de kamers. De tv had geen smart tv optie (of deed het in ieder geval niet)

Wonderful stay in stunning castle. Pity we didn't book a longer stay.
Pros:

Stunning castle near Maarsbergen. We had a very modern room in the coach house with lovely bathroom. Coffee machine and kettle in the room with complimentary drinks in the minibar.
Breakfast was in the main house and delicious. You could order eggs but the yogurt, fruit and pastries kept us busy.
We enjoyed ourselves cycling around the extensive grounds.

Cons:

Air conditioning was somewhat noisy but that may have been our programming of it.

Leben und genießen in einem historischen Ansitz mit Landschaftspark
Pros:

Parc Broekhuizen ist kein gewöhnliches Hotel, sondern ein historischer Ansitz in einem wunderschönen Landschaftspark mit See. Erholung pur.
Die individuellen Zimmer oder Suiten liegen zum Teil im Haupthaus, wir haben in der ehemaligen Wagenremise in einem großen und hohen Zimmer unter freigelegten Dachbalken gewohnt, sehr schick. Parc Broekhuizen scheint in den Niederlanden ein beliebtes Ziel für große Feiern aller Art zu sein, weshalb es an Wochenenden wohl regelmäßig langfristig ausgebucht ist.
Parc Broekhuizen nennt sich Culinair Landgoed und wird diesem Anspruch mehr als gerecht. Das Hotel verfügt über zwei Restaurants. Das täglich geöffnete, schicke Bistro "lof" im Park in einer ehemaligen Scheune trögt einen irreführenden Namen; in Wirklichkeit ist es ein ein vorzügliches Restaurant, nicht billig, aber seinen Preis absolut wert. Von Donnerstag bis Sonntag hat das wunderbare Restaurant "voltaire" im Haupthaus geöffnet; es ist mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. In dessen Räumen wird auch das ungemein vielseitige und hochklassige Frühstück serviert.
Da Parc Broekhuizen sehr zentral liegt, eignet es sich sehr gut als Standort für Tagesausflüge, nicht nur in die nahe gelegene Bischofs- und Universitätsstadt Utrecht mit wunderschönem historischem Zentrum, sondern auch über die nahe gelegene Autobahn zu entfernteren Zielen. In den Nachbarorten liegen zwei schöne Schlossanlagen, deren Besichtigung unbedingt zu empfehlen ist: Schloss Amerongen und Haus Dorn, der Alterssitz des letzten deutschen Kaisers Wilhelm II.. Die Umgebung lässt sich gut mit Fahrrädern erkunden, die man in Parc Broekhuizen ausleihen kann.

Cons:

Parc Parc Broekhuizen ist so außergewöhnlich, dass man kleinere Mängel, die es kaum gibt, auf jeden Fall verzeiht. Deutsch wird praktisch nicht gesprochen; wer nicht niederländisch beherrscht, kommt aber mit englisch gut zurecht. Die hohen Preise sind kein Kritikpunkt, sondern sind den gebotenen Leistungen angemessen.
