Ideal start point for any trips and a perfectly relaxing place to return to.
Pros:

Rooms have everything you need and perfectly placed peacefully opposite the park but only two minutes from the centre of Keswick.
The food and service are exceptional.
Very relaxing

Cons:

Only niggle I had was that in my room the shower had nowhere to put soap or shampoo so needed to have shower screen open to use shelf by the sink.

A beautiful hotel in a wow location
Pros:

Lovely double room with spacious bathroom and stunning view. Breakfast very tasty

Cons:

A bottle of water in room would have been nice especially as my stay was during a heatwave

The breakfast was the best full English I've ever had.
Hubby enjoyed several Hawkstone largers which he was thrilled they had.

I found the bed on the hard side but that's normal for me.

Lovely building and perfect location good beers and wine Lovely outside area. Breakfast was delicious and service fantastic nice staff

Front door lock not the easiest to open when returning from town

Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Located in a nice area.

Cons:

No allocated parking. Difficult to find close parking to the hotel. Old style washing basin which doesn't have a water mixer and only separate hot and cold taps.

We were only staying the 1 night, so it wasn’t too big an issue, if we were staying longer I would have asked for a diff
Pros:

Location right in town, nice property and the breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Room and bathroom were basic and very dated. Was told the parking was full when booked in and had to leave the car in the street with a pass, when we got to the room overlooking the car park there were parking spots available. Small detail but reflected an overall lack of appreciation when checking in compared to other accommodations on this trip.
