Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a good location central to Falkirk.

Cons:

My room could have done with a small armchair.

When I arrived there were sachets for shower gel. However there was no soap to use at the sink to wash my hands. I asked for some but it took over a day to get it.

If I had known where I was being put I would have requested a change or just cancelled the booking. Not happy really

It wasn’t actually in the orchard itself it was around the corner in a different street which I was not informed about prior to arriving

Cons:

Given incorrect room size and no breakfast available which was all paid for in advance. Nightclub just 100 yards from room. Karaoke night under my room. No sleep until after 1pm due window not double glazed so no outside noise blocked out. Heavy traffic from buses and HGVs. No hand soap so had to use “toiletries” supplied which was only a small single sachet of hair and body wash which I only got 2 uses out of. No cup for hot drink. Only 1 towel provided. Due to no toiletries or towels for showers supplied I was unable to use the shower. Toiletries were part of the inclusions so I decided to not take mine to save space in my backpack. The only mirror in my box room was a small round mirror above the bed which I had no access to unless I balanced on the mattress. The bathroom mirror was cracked and had no nails smeared along the crack which was the length of the mirror

Great staff, poor website detail.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, The welcome was second to none. We booked a table for dinner and were provided with a perfect option for us and my reactive pup. When we went down for breakfast the girl in the bar was really blindsided as no chef was available. She ended up trying to contact the boss/chef by phone and after the other teo couples had left she gave us a list of places to try which were open, fog friend local. She was a stsr!! If, as their on room documents say, they only occasionally do breakfast, they should make it bookable at time of occupancy.

Cons:

Yhe toom overlooked a road with a nightclub and thus was noisy. We booked breakfast and none was available..two other couples were also expecting breakfast with us. We all needed to look elsewhere.gor breakfast.

Scotland stay 2026
Pros:

Being in a historical building, the proximity to the tpwn centre and train station, and the overall setting. The staff was exceptional from the cleaners, bar personnel, managers, cooks/chefs, and everyone associated with our stay, food, and drinks.

Cons:

Lack of wifi access in our room.

Pros:

The room and bedding were spotlessly clean.

Cons:

The room overlooked a busy road throughout the night which made sleeping almost impossible.
The adjoining rooms toilet made a noise in our room when flushed.
The entrance stairs had loose carpeting which made it dangerous.

Nice stop over while working or passing through Falkirk.
Pros:

Great for a quick stop over and when you need to visit for work. For a Bistro Bar Hotel this was surprisingly quiet and tidy and clean

Cons:

We were in a room over the bins and it was so hot needed to keep window open.
WiFi was very unreliable.

Basic but clean accommodation
Pros:

Good location and staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Booked a room with private bathroom, though it may as well have been shared as it wasn't en-suite. Meaning that I had to get dressed to go for a pee in the night or risk being caught half naked on the landing!
