Clean value for money hotel with friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast and amenities for 3st
Pros:

The hotel was able to accomadate my family which was five of us in one room

Cons:

The parking was a little bit congested to the point where cars would of had to move to let people out not good if your in the town centre and enjoying yourself

What a shame. Beautiful location but the hotel was unclean and stuck in time.
Pros:

The outdoor area was nice.

Cons:

The check in staff lacked any customer service, smile or time to engage in any conversation.
The stairs leading to rooms looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum in years.
The hotel was extremely dated and needs a complete renovation.
My bedroom was unclean (especially the bathroom) and extremely dated in layout and decor.
Very uncomfortable nights stay and I didn’t get much sleep.

Good value & clean.
Pros:

Room was clean & 2 heaters provided. Outside seating & bar. Nice position in town.

Cons:

Bed was too soft & zipped together duvet was annoying.. Very noisy until midnight from band playing directly below. Shower was tiny & water pressure low. Took ages to get hot water

No spare toilet roll in the room. Electrics could have been better. It was in need of updating.
I was for asked for payment but had already paid.
On the way up the stairs there was a door very close to the steps where you had to stand on the stairs to pull it towards you to open it. Very unsafe.

Dirty and was placed on the top floor with no help to carry heavy bags… made to pay £8 a night for parking in the hotel car park with zero advance warning about the parking charges. It felt like there was no consideration about customer care and satisfaction

Appearance,bad odour everywhere ,
Dusty everywhere,windows dirty,carpet needs changing,whole place could do with a complete overhaul….painting badly needed.
Shower was dreadful….no pressure
