Centrally Located Hotel with Beautiful Rooms and an Improved Breakfast Experience
Pros:

My stay at Valsana Hotel Arosa was overall very pleasant, although this visit was only for one night while attending a festival. I had previously stayed at the hotel several years ago, which allowed for a direct comparison. One of the hotel’s strongest advantages is its very central location, making it convenient and easily accessible. The rooms were modern, well designed, and offered a beautiful view. The check-in process, however, felt slightly inconvenient this time. Although the booking had already been completed in advance via Booking.com, an additional online registration was required upon arrival, and every guest staying in the room had to be registered individually. This made the arrival process feel somewhat unnecessarily complicated. After check-in, we decided to have drinks at the bar. As we were seated slightly away from the main area, service took quite a long time before we were attended to. Another minor disappointment was the wellness area schedule. The facilities were not open particularly late in the evening, and spontaneous sauna visits required prior notification the day before, which reduced flexibility somewhat. On a very positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent and significantly more varied and improved compared to my previous stay. Overall, the hotel offers attractive rooms, an excellent location, and a very good breakfast experience, although there is still some room for improvement regarding service efficiency and wellness accessibility.
