Disappointed
Pros:

Location was good and the interior was also good

Cons:

Not basic necessities were there in the room and the room was very small for 2 adults and the TV was not good

Perfect in every way
Pros:

The room was spacious and very comfortable except that it was a little too warm at night, due to the exceptional weather. Used the fan supplied but it was a too noisy for sleeping. Otherwise the room was excellent. Fantastic shower. Breakfast was delicious, everything that you could wish for. As we were attending a funeral at the Cathedral, the location was perfect.

Cons:

Just the heat in the room at night. But this was due to the extremely warm weather that the UK is experiencing at present.

Really loved the hotel. And will stay again.
Pros:

I feel we had an upgraded room. Many thanks. It was my husband’s birthday. There was a plate with Happy Birthday on and two brownies. Lovely touch. Thank you.

Cons:

Bed was a little firm for me but no reflection on anything.

Cons:

Small rooms, no air conditioning, uncomfortable bed, shower old and leaking.

Breakfast was sub standard and evening meal menu was limited.

Pros:

The hotel was extremely cheap, our rooms were a good size, very clean and all fine. The parking was excellent, with a secure barrier and guard. The staff I met were lovely. The hotel must have been amazing in its Victorian heyday, it clearly needs a lot of investment. I think they are trying to keep this old place alive and well and I wish them the best. If you need to stay in Bradford go for it.

decent stay, staff were great but aspects of the area were poor.
Pros:

Nice hotel and the staff were all very helpful indeed. THe hotel itself inside is really lovely with some decent features.

Cons:

The location was useful by being near Forster Square station but at night there were quite a few addicts around the station area who were not really a problem in picking on folks etc as they kept themselves to themselves but were just an unpleasant sight.
It was also a hot night and the room was non air conditioned but there was a large fan provided but when I switched it off to sleep, the air was a bit ‘dead’ so to speak.

Perfect for lovers of classic architecture.
Pros:

Loved the historic Geade 2 listed building with the beautiful architecture. Loved knowing Laurel & Hardy stayed there. Conveniently located for Bradford centre. Very good breakfast. Professional and helpful staff. Fair bar prices. Check out the stair case!

depite some problems enjoyed it.
Pros:

Good shower and bathroom. Robe etc. TV OK. Like the historic atmosphere and building overall. very convenient for the centre pf the city & one of the stations. Reception staff helpful.

Cons:

gave me an executive room which was small & overlooked unsightly interior walls of the 'well' of the building and the window was frosted over anyway, & no 'city' view as per claim, so asked for another room, and fortunately they had a much better, larger one with such a view. No air conditioning. that might not matter. There was an ineffective upright tower fan in the room during the recent heatwave however I took matters into my own hands and swapped it for the better one in the not very nice room I had rejected. However on the last night the fan overheated and shut down. It revived the next morning. Breakfast - not the greatest variety of choice such as rolls in addition to sliced bread, they will give you porridge which wasnt great and poached eggs if you ask.

Grand budapest hotel?
Pros:

Nettes Personal, eigener Parkplatz, tolle schöne Räume im öffentlichen Bereich, gutes Frühstücksbuffet
Fühlt sich an al wäre man im grand budapest hotel oder ähnlichem unterwegs.
Super restaurant in laufnähe; Bangkok thai restaurant

Cons:

Ist halt in die Jahre gekommen - aber da wir damit gerechnet haben fanden wir das nicht schlimm.
Am einen Sonntag Abend war es in der Umgebung nicht so ganz angenehm zu laufen aber das ist halt so bei Städten die ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich haben :D

A picture perfect hotel doing everything right for the guests
Pros:

The midland hotel Bradford was very clean, staff were very helpful, and breakfast is excellent , on top of free parking at the hotel
