Pros:

Bra reception, sovrum och sängar.

Cons:

Fruktansvärd upplevelse av frukost, god mat dock men själva salen var väldigt högljudd samt att ljud från diskhörnan i samma rum väsnades. Mycket stressande och otrevligt.

Okay stay for exploring Iceland

201 Hotel is a solid, no-frills option if you need a clean and comfortable place to sleep while exploring Iceland. Accommodation prices in Iceland can feel very inflated compared to Asian or American standards, so for the price, this hotel gives you the basics you need without overpromising.

The room was clean and comfortable, which is the most important thing for me. I also appreciated that breakfast was included, and the robot coffee machine was a fun bonus for making specialty drinks. The breakfast was actually one of the highlights of the stay.

The location is not very close to downtown Reykjavik, so having a car is definitely recommended. Overall, it is a practical choice for a quick stay, especially if you are mainly using the hotel as a place to rest between activities.

Cons:

Do not expect luxury or many amenities. The hotel provides the bare minimum, which is fine for a short stay, but it may feel limited if you are looking for a more elevated hotel experience.

The lighting in the room could be better, and there was not enough furniture or storage space to comfortably place bags or organize clothes. A luggage rack, extra shelf, or small closet area would make the room much more functional.

Cons:

Ekki allir í móttökunni tala íslensku. Mér finnst atriði að hægt sé að tala íslensku á hóteli á Íslandi.
Sturtan leiðinleg. Sturtuhaus of lítill og vatn rennur út um allt gólf á baðherberginu. Þetta er ekki bundið við ykkar hótel. Mér finnst flest hótel klúðra sturtunum.
