Small rooms, TV remote was missing and the replacement remote had two different flat batteries in it. No buttons on the TV to manually control it. Pillows were not great.

Super Hotel mit tollem Restaurant, am besten Halbpension buchen, ein Katzensprung vom Château entfernt.
Pros:

Tolle Lage, sehr schönes Hotel mit gepflegtem Pool und schöner Außenanlagen. Hunde waren erlaubt, durften abends sogar mit ins Restaurant, wir hatten auf Wunsch einen Eckplatz bekommen. Wir hatten Halbpension mit Abendmenue und Frühstück gebucht.
Das inkludierte Menü war sehr schön angerichtet und lecker, das Travers de Porc leider etwas fest.
Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, sogar Rührei, Bacon, Wurst, Käse, Croissants, Baguette, Kuchen, Obst, Cerealien , Säfte und ein Kaffeeautomat mit allen üblichen Kaffeespezialitäten. Das Team war jung und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotelzimmer groß, Bett ebenfalls und feste Matratze, Minibar mit kostenlosen Softdrinks.

Cons:

Alles war gut.

Pros:

L’emplacement au calme et proche de chambord, la piscine et l’amabilité du personnel. Le petit déjeuner est sympa, possibilité de se restaurer le soir au restaurant de l’hôtel. Chambres bien pensées et climatisées.

Cons:

Pensez à bien aérer les chambres pour éviter les odeurs de renfermé.

A great stopover location when travelling through France.
Pros:

A perfect little hotel in the Loire region which we used as a pitstop on the way to Gascony from The Netherlands. The rooms were comfortable and the swimming pool was handy with the heat. Air conditioning in the rooms was also great!

Cons:

The pool is only open from 10am until 7pm, which is partly understandable due to its proximity to the restaurant terrace, but when travelling with children during a heatwave, some flexibility in the opening times would have been welcome!
