Pros:

The staff was very nice, and area was clean. Our room had a whole kitchen that was stocked with any cooking ware you needed which is very helpful when you have little ones.

Cons:

The location is a little hard when checking in/checking out because it is on a main road. But you get to park in a parking garage so you know your car is safe.

Superb stay in San Diego
Pros:

We chose this hotel for the big room (with kitchen), free breakfast, proximity to the CBD and laundry facilities on-site. Our room was exactly as shown on Booking.com.

The free breakfast was better than most 3 star US hotels, the hot options seemed to change everyday

The hotel location is an easy walk to Little Italy, or into the CBD to get a bus or trolley. We got the bus to the Zoo. You can technically walk to the Zoo/Balboa Park, but its not a nice walk.

Cons:

The laundry is $3.50 to wash and $3.00 to dry but only accepts quarters. The hotel could not exchange notes for quarters. The local 7 Eleven reluctantly exchanged notes for quarters.

The hotel really needs to keep a supply of quarters. The hotel sells detergent for $2.60 but we got it for $2.00, as they couldn't give us change.

I blew the fuse in the bathroom by using the hotel hairdryer, probably due to the weak US power network.
