Surround yourself with comfort and beauty. Immaculate.
Pros:

This is a charming hotel located in the heart of it all. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are lovely. Our refrigerator did not work upon arrival and within 10 minutes the maintenance man wheeled in a new one and set it up. Beautiful lobby and restaurant.

Cons:

A small complaint is that the toilet is low and not a soft closing lid.

Pros:

My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant. It was great. Then we took a evening walk around the block. Didn't know that Marathon Oil's headquarters was just a block away. We loved seeing the many murals in that area. I would recommend the Hancock to anyone staying in Finley.

Cons:

We couldn't stay longer.

Booking.com OVERCHARGES!
Pros:

Hotel was awesome. Staff was awesome. Location was awesome.

Cons:

Booking.com OVERCHARGED me more than DOUBLE the cost if I would have just called the hotel DIRECTLY. That was verified by the hotel front desk staff. I will NEVER use Booking.com again.

Pros:

I stayed at The Hancock Hotel for just one night, but it was enough to make me want to come back. I loved everything about it: the elegant design, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the attention to every detail. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable, making my stay truly enjoyable.

The breakfast was also excellent, with high-quality food, great presentation, and attentive service.

Unfortunately, my stay was too short, but I will be returning to this area frequently for work, and I have no doubt that I will always choose this hotel.

My only wish is that, one day, The Hancock Hotel will join the Aeroplan program. It would be wonderful to earn airline miles while staying here. That would truly be the icing on the cake for a hotel that, in my opinion, deserves a perfect 10.

Finally... a great hotel in Findlay...
Pros:

This is really a dream hotel to stay in Findlay... we had a corner king suite for 4 days and I would love to go back and stay again... you can't really compare to any of those large chains off I-75 or elsewhere... this really is THE PLACE. Great staff and great Mancy Steakhouse attached for breakfast... you will pay more for breakfast than walking down the street and it's worth it... great coffee and great bacon. We also used the free bicycles to ride around town... if you want to do some serious bicycling... bring your own bikes... still... these were OK for a small ride. Only one thing... if you want a "dark" room to sleep... not really here... I don't need it that dark... so i was oK. Large bathroom... a ton of storage for clothes etc., more than any other hotel I ever rented in the USA and I was a road warrior... this really is the best.

Pros:

Location is always important. Cleanliness, too…some mold in the shower, but everything else was clean.

Cons:

Parking was confusing. No pets is a problem for us, we had to kennel our very clean, very well behaved dog.
