A lovely 24 hours
Pros:

Awesome as always.

Cons:

The noise from the wedding. We were informed ahead of our stay that there would be noise and we were offered to change dates. The music was much louder than expected.

Basic, hot, a bit chaotic
Pros:

Loved the breakfast area very quirky,

Cons:

Whilst no one can control the heat we’ve had, no a/c and the “grab a fan from the corridor if there is one” wasn’t ideal especially as we had an elderly couple with us. Had to climb on a chair then the windowsill to reach the windows so we could open them. No phone in the room so if we had an issue we had to trail back down 2 floors.
Stains on the carpet in the room which was very basic.
The service at breakfast was slow, no decaf coffee the first morning and the second seemed chaotic but the service staff were lovely and apologetic

Good vibes
Pros:

Lovely, friendly & incredibly helpful staff. Great location with a very good vibe about the whole Holmes Mill complex.

Rooms were comfortable & clean.

Cons:

As the weather was very hot when we stayed the rooms were uncomfortably warm, with not enough fans for one for every room. Might want to think about investing in some more powerful fans please.

But this in no way detracted from a lovely stay & we would definitely come back.
