Easy to find
The staff was great. They were nice and accommodating.
The place was not tidy. There were tears in the carpet in the hallways. The stairs were damaged. The elevators were dirty. The walls in my room had stains on them. The bathroom floor had visible dirt and dust. All of these things made my stay uncomfortable. This hotel needs to be deeply cleaned. It only seems to be a problem in Michigan because I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn locations in other states and they have been very neat and clean.

Didn’t pick up trash near my room for 47 hours. I had to request removal from the hallway.
The front entrance has begun to look trashy! Weeds, debris in the front entrance mat. Cigarette butts in the cracks of the sidewalk.The common spaces by the elevators in the room floors also need some attention. The elevator doors are streaked , the carpet spotty. Some simple attention to these spaces would be greatly appreciated

location was good. front desk staff was great. liked the coffee in the lobby.
didn't do breakfast buffet because no bacon on the buffet. no other option was offered in the hotel and i had to go leave the hotel and go elsewhere. also there was no body wash in the shower. i had no time to call down to have it refilled. also the bathroom lights wouldn't turn on and had to call front desk to figure out why.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Zoe, in particular, helped us with some needs! Our room was clean and exactly what we needed.
We made reservations there, in part, because they advertised having a Tesla charging station. We even requested that we be permitted time to use it and received an email acknowledging our request. Upon arrival and inquiring, we were told the chargers had not worked in months, maybe even a year. Very frustrating and disappointing!

The Lobby area was beautiful when I initially entered. The front desk agent was very nice.
The Lobby area although beautiful was not clean. There were dead bugs all over the floor leading to the dining area on one day. The floors of both elevators were nasty, there were spills in both that left a sticky residue that remained our entire stay. The hall on our floor had items on the floor that were there when we arrived and remained when we left.
It was a beautiful property but needs to be cleaned.
I booked this hotel for my son‘s birthday of our arrival I was told that the pool was not working I no longer wanted to stay there because that was the reason of the pool however I booked through booking so I asked the front desk lady if I would be able to get a refund or a credit because the pool was not working she said I had to reach out to booking which idea booking representative spoke with the front desk staff and said I was OK to leave and that my reservation will be canceled. I do have proof that my reservation was canceled and if the cameras were to be ran back you will see that I did not stay at this hotel however I still had to pay. I was not refunded or compensated in any kind of way this is not fair

The breakfast is 12.99 per room but it was a great breakfast and had plenty of great seating to choose from. The pool was great. The laundry room which was a great value and convenient. The location of the hotel was nice in that we were a short distance to many restaurants and stores. The hotel rooms were very quiet and they had many people staying but we never heard anyone while we were in our room. The staff was very nice and friendly.
The outside grounds needed some attention in that there were areas with pieces of debris/trash on the ground near the lobby.
Comfortable beds, large rooms, good water pressure in shower, step in shower. Breakfast choices.
Restaurant lacked staff so didn't eat there. Had to pay extra for breakfasts
