Location, staff & extremely comfy bed
The location was perfect and the breakfast was beautiful
There was nothing I didn't like
Great location. Comfortable bed. Modern shower room. Delicious breakfast.
Room was small
Great customer service, staff really friendly & professional. Went the extra mile.
Food in restaurant was delicious. Great menu options for vegetarians.
Quite a small room for a superior double.
The restaurant staff extremely unpleasant from greeting us seating us an taking are order the lady front of house would benefit from some training in public service her attitude was way off will now we return
Fantastic hotel in central Derry. Perfectly located to walk the walls, cross the peace bridge and walk tour the city. No parking but the Bishop Street car park is a 2 minute walk away and very cheap and safe to leave the car for many hours including overnight. You can pull up outside the hotel to load and unload luggage. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful and ready for a chat. The hotel has all you might need. The restaurant has a good vibe at both dinner and breakfast. The offer of a glass of champagne on arrival and a complementary mimosa at breakfast is a nice touch. The food is delicious with a nice selection of dishes at breakfast, all cooked fresh. Room was adequate with comfortable bed and excellent shower.
Staff were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
Excellent food and an amazing breakfast.
Totally different experience from last visits. Needs refreshing. Staff indifferent and noise from machines intolerable late at night. Staff did not listen. Its a great spot so central. It's such a shame
Although the room is tiny, it was clean, confortable and very quiet.
But what makes the hotel distinctive is the personnel or staff.
Be it at the reception or at the restaurant, in the morning or evening, each person was lovely, smiling and warmful. Each expressed willingness and happiness in taking care of us and helpful.
A special mention goes to the receptionist when we left by 11:00 am on June 4, 2026. Indeed, a taxi had been requested the evening before for our travel to the train station the following morning. The taxi presented itself on time. But when we arrived at the station , it was very heavily raining and gusting such that we escaped from the cab in a rush leaving behind in the cab a small bag. Upon realizing my misfortune, I called at the hotel and the young lady, whose voice I recognized as being that of the receptionist upon checking out, reassured me and told me she would contact the taxi company forthwith. Within minutes she called me back and told me she had been able to get in touch with the taxi company, that the cab driver was found, of whom I had no identification nor receipt whatsoever, and that he was en route to the train station to deliver my bag.
Owing to the resourcefulness and competence of that young lady, the taxi driver was back to the train station within less than 10 minutes with me bag. I thought in the first place I would miss the train, but hopefully the young lady moved so quickly that I could catch the train. That was extraordinary.
We booked the Dine and Dream package, and from start to finish it was simply outstanding.
The value for money was exceptional, but what truly set this experience apart was the incredible quality of the food and service. The three-course evening meal and breakfast were absolutely superb—without question the finest hotel dining experience we have ever had.
Every member of staff was immaculately presented, warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality made us feel valued throughout our stay.
This was, quite simply, the best hotel experience we have ever enjoyed. We left already looking forward to our next visit and will most definitely be back.
Five stars in every respect. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Staff and the food Bed was comfortable.
The view from the room The Argyle
Great location, easy walk to many local restaurants, parks, local attractions. Staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations for food and things to see. Very accommodating (restaurant was booked but they allowed us to be seated in their bar to enjoy desserts only) and wonderful breakfast.
