Wonderful Stay at the Almanac!
Pros:

We spent 2 nights at the Almanac and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The location was great, close to shopping and restaurants and popular areas. The hotel staff were excellent - we received a warm and friendly welcome and they continued to be attentive for our entire stay. We look forward to returning one day!

The perfect place.
Pros:

This property was amazing. Clean, nice and spacious rooms, and the location was the best part. We could walk to everything from here - we walked to the beach, Sagrada Família, Boqueria, and many other sites. The rooftop bar is amazing as well. The staff was beyond helpful as well and the Concierge helped us to purchase tickets to some of the nearby attractions. The stay was a 10 out of 10 and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we returned!

My home away from home
Pros:

Staying in Almanac Barcelona is always a heartwarming experience. From the genuine welcoming experience through the fantastic F&B experience to the amazing hotel rooms and public areas - it simply feels like at home. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a home away from home in the amazing city of Barcelona.

The BEST place to stay in Barcelona
Pros:

This was the best hotel I stayed at - it was a beautiful luxury hotel and the staff was amazing. This is extremely walkable by all the hot spots for shopping and also cafes and dining - the tourist hot spots are also near by. I accidentally wondered around walking for an hour and ended up at the beach - it was gorgeous. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodations were top tier. Highly recommend staying here - this was my favorite hotel and I stayed at many!

I love the room itself and the location is also very nice

Cons:

What I didn’t like is that toilet amenities are upon request, arrived late and nothing was there I didn’t really like to wait for it. But it’s not too important, everything else was great!

Het ontbijt was erg mager ,nauwelijks beleg.
Douche was prima , de zitkamer was klein.

Het ontbijt en geen thee op de kamer.

Loved The Almanac!
Pros:

We booked here through AMEX FHR and it did not disappoint! We were warmly welcomed, and delighted to learn that our room was available for an early check in. Our room was nicely furnished and generous in size with a comfy bed and an A/C that cranked. The breakfast was delicious, as well as our meals from room service and the rooftop bar which has spectacular views of the Sagrada Familia. I would def stay here again if I returned to Barcelona.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

The location was great, room is beautiful & breakfast was exceptional - food was of a high standard and staff was pleasant and very helpful. Can’t fault the breakfast team at all. The room is clean, well designed and modern. Design of hotel is tasteful and a real relaxation haven when you return from the busy city. Nice special touches in the room like thoughtful guest gifts.

Cons:

Reception staff. They aren’t welcoming when checking in. Not friendly at all. When checking out, we were overcharged for breakfast and only after we paid the bill, did we see that they charged us for an extra breakfast every day. We had settled the account so had to be refunded and checkout was a confusing mess. They cancelled our room cards after paying the bill even though we said we were not checking out, so we could not access our room to get luggage. Reception staff did not send anyone to assist with luggage collection in room. The front desk staff services need to be more streamlined, efficient and definitely more friendly. Not up to 5-star standard. Rest of the staff were amazing.
