Historic hotel with modern rooms and friendly staff
Pros:

Really great rooms and great bicycle storage with electricity. Very friendly staff. We also ate dinner there and it was excellent.

Die Lage des Hotels ist unumstritten ideal.

Cons:

Nun, hier vielen 2 Umstände zusammen, welche ich mir nur ungern selbst zuschreiben möchte. Ich hatte das Hotel Wochen im voraus gebucht, um meine Rückreise aus Ungarn zu unterbrechen und am nächsten Tag vortzusetzen. Gegen 16 Uhr bekam ich einen Anruf von der Rezeption, das ich mich darauf einstellen solle, das ab 17 Uhr das Restsurant geschlossen ist und an der Rezeption kein Personal mehr wäre. Ein weiterer Hinweis erfolgte bzgl. der Parkmöglichkeit, welche über die Jesuitengasse anzufahren sei. Die Einfahrt haben mir 2 nette Polizisten von gegenüber gezeigt, nachdem diese selbst an der Einfahrt suchen mussten. Da es sich im Stadtkern ausnahmslos um Einbahnstraßen handelt, hat das Einparken schon mal eine halbe Stunde gedauert.Hier hätte ein präziser Hinweis wie "gegenüber der Polizeiparkplätze", "enger Durchgang in der Häuserzeile mit kleinem Hinweisschild" sicherlich helfen können. Der Umstand, das Hotel noch einmal verlassen zu müssen um nach 10 Stunden Fahrt ein Restaurant zu suchen, hatte den Abend auch nicht retten können.

Pros:

Eigentlich alles! Hervorzuheben: Extrem freundliches Personal (auch der Chef😊). Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs und konnten - da Regen sehr erfolgreich - bereits zwei Stunden früher einchecken. Danke! Gute abschließbare (kleine) Fahrradgarage.
Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend (Short rips bzw. Spinatknödel). Großzügiger Weinausschank durch den jungen freundlichen Kellner - nochmals Danke.

Cons:

Na ja: Die - wenn auch leckeren - Essensdüfte ziehen - etwas aufdringlich - durchs ganze Haus

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Zimmer war großräumig und gut eingerichtet. Frühstück war ausreichend und der Kaffee heiß. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Cons:

Das offene Badezimmer nicht schön und damit verbunden auch nicht das Lichtkonzept und die Privatsphäre. Wenn man Licht am Spiegel anmacht ist das ganze Zimmer beleuchtet.

Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location for the town centre and set in an attractive building. The room was comfortable and clean. Excellent shower pressure. All of the members of the staff we met were lovely.

Cons:

There is no air-conditioning in the rooms. This was not a problem during our stay, but the room did get a little warm. Check out was a little difficult as we left reasonably early and the desk was unmanned.
