Needs modernisation.
Pros:

Central location. Ground floor room. Cleverly solved the issue of the shower curtain sticking to you. Large comfy bed with pristine white linen.

Cons:

Hanging facility in room which I bumped my shoulder on. Suggest a more sleek and modern facility that doesn't impede getting into bed.
Too much clutter on a small table along with tea & coffee making facilities. This could be a wall mounted unit which then frees up floor space.
Bedside lamps had no shades and types of bulbs did not match.

The lady scared my other two children screaming telling them she was going to ring the place. I felt like a criminal goi
Pros:

As I think everyone that is in Bournemouth is well aware of the traffic that was there day and night it was very hard to book a hotel. The whole of Bournemouth was booked out. I have a one year-old baby and I went to the door to my room and that was greeted by a man who said I was an hour late for checking and refuse me and turned me away with my baby from the door. I was left in the middle of Bournemouth with nowhere to go. I begged them please can you just give me my key? I’ve paid it did not say anything on the website that I had to be in for that time And he said read the small print and shut the door in my face with my baby in my arms.

The future of the hotel seems to hang in the balance as much as the condemned building adjoining it
Pros:

Bed comfort was a positive and the parking space being convenient and secure.

Cons:

Upkeep of the fixtures and furnishings was neglectful at best and borderline dangerous in the case of a bedside lamp that seemed to brighten or dim depending on what must have been undampened surges of power from its ancient socket arrangement

We enjoyed the location and the history of the building.
Pros:

A simple room, but fine for what we needed. We liked that is was not in the main building. Your own frontdoor!
Lovely instant hot water from the tap in the basin.
Free parking!

Cons:

The shower was awkward to use and the plug for the basin did not work well. Wasting water.

Needs a refurbishment!
Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

The pub / hotel looked very tired. The whole place needs a refurbishment. My room was very tiny and did not have air conditioning. It would be very hot in the summer!

Reasonable value for money. Good location in the middle of Ringwood.
Pros:

Welcoming staff on arrival and later at the bar. Room was large, roomy and bed comfortable. Wardrobe difficult to access due to opening next to bed. Shower didn't work, but bath did. Good free parking.

Cons:

Menu restricted to thoroughly unhealthy food. Even the salads weren't a healthy option. Difficulty in finding any staff at breakfast time.

Nice stay but spoiled a bit by silly things that could easily be fixed for very little cost and very little effort.
Pros:

Great location, staff were lovely, towels and linen were spotless, bed was comfortable. Nice to have kettle, milk tea and coffee in the room also had iron and hair dryer, shower gel and liquid soap.

Cons:

The rooms are shabby and very much in need of a refurbishment. My sash window opened a few inches then wouldn’t close. The corridor to the rooms had a disgusting smell that got worse as the day went on. We had to buy a sense and spray air freshener to mask the awful smell. The door panel on my wardrobe was hanging off . Two of the drawers had missing handles( they were inside the drawer ). The outside window ledge had layers of flaky white worn off paint and were almost rotten through. The ceiling light needed 2 bulbs replacing. All these things could have been easily rectified by an odd job man in a couple of hours but had obviously been ignored for ages as I had read the comments from other guests on bookings.com and trip advisor.
