Hi I'm in the process of challenging this payment I have a confirmation email from booking.com to tell me it was cancelled I've just checked my credit card statement and it has not been refunded I'm going to take this matter now directly to the credit card company to get my money refunded instantly
Location and staff friendly
Food was very overpriced for what it was and wasn’t very warm we stayed for dinner and breakfast, food was only lukewarm and was given cold Nan bread. Bathroom was dirty and wasn’t maintained toilet seat was broken and was a noose from the pipes all night, the bedroom door wouldn’t shut properly.

Carpets rot in room bathroom very tired toilet brown needed bleaching
Bed was ok
Rooms were dirty, decor very dated and wallpaper peeling. Rooms weren’t refreshed. There was noise like a washing machine running above the ceiling in room 10. Kept my sister awake all night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, bed was incredibly comfortable - surprised but pleased to find ourselves with a superking! TV worked and bedroom furniture was nice.
Bathroom was dated and smelt of damp, obviously we didn't spend long in here anyway. Ceiling in bedroom had damp stains from previous leaks (we were on the ground floor) but no active leaks.
