Ideal as a stop over for a night or 2
Pros:

The room was OK good bathroom and bed, the bedside lights were a bit difficult to use and had a very small black switch which was not easy to see which involved a walk back from the Bedroom block.

Cons:

Location was convenient and whilst close to the road was not troubled by the traffic. Good poarking.

We were told through bookings .com we would have a down stairs room.Even though we had a name who oked the booking. They said no one of that name works there and we got the impression they were to busy to be bothered

Wouldn’t stay there again. evenng meal terrible.
Pros:

Breakfsst ok cooked fresh.No fresh fruit first mornng .

Cons:

Beds not made and room not serviced after first night. Bathroom tatty. Hot water out of cold tap. Side of shower rotten. Toilet seat wonky.

Pictures on the website look so much better than reality. Wouldn't stay again.
Pros:

Staff were friendly

Cons:

room 4 had a not so nice smell, mould all in the bathroom and water stains from leaks up the walls and ceiling !

Filled a need to find a comfortable place to bed down for the night.

Dinner in the Restaurant was very good and so was breakfast. No complaints.

Poor night sleep due to smell.
Cons:

Room smelt of drains.Extractor fan didn't work.After complaint given a room spray.Told by staff smell caused by tree roots damaging drain pipes!

Pros:

The bed was comfortable and food was very good, staff was polite and helpful

Cons:

Our room smelt damp, it had a mouldy smell, the bathroom smelt like a sewer, we had to buy air freshener to disguise it, and the fan provided was dusty, so it started of my allergies, causing me to get short of breath in the night, the shower head was very dirty, as was the plug hole

Fine for an overnight stay, breakfast made it reasonable value for money.
Pros:

Hotel was right on the road, so convenient for a short atoppver. The staff were very efficient and friendly, breakfast was good.

Cons:

Room was very compact, TV reception was terrible. Room was quite hot, although a fan was provided which helped a bit.

Pros:

The manager of the Owl..or the guy who signed us in was working really hard and wanted to help. We were going to eat there but we decided not to on the end...went to look for somewhere we could see the football as they couldn't get the TV working. All staff we nice. Room was comfortable, bed comfy, shower small but for the mo eye we paid it was worth it!

Cons:

The room was stuffy but had a fantastic so that helped. The bathroom didn't have a window that opened.
