I would highly recommend Hotel Paul for a comfortable and affordable stay in the centre of Aix.
Pros:

We only stayed for one night but the staff were very helpful and accomodatig to our requirements. Lovely terrace for breakfast and very tasteful coffee! The bedrooms are very clean and quiet for a restful night's sleep. The location is very close to the old town as well as Cezanne's house.

Sicuramente la parte nuova dell’albergo è più piacevole.

La struttura è molto carina.

Staff molto cordiale

Cons:

Eravamo nella parte più antica dello stabile.
Sapevamo che la camera era al secondo piano senza ascensore.
E’ un pochino impegnativo per una persona anziana.
La parte nuova dell’hotel è molto bella.
Lo staff ci ha aiutate in tutto.
Lavoro eccellente.

Die Lage ist super, in 5 Min. in der Altstadt. Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Zimmer im zweiten Stock ohne Lift. Bei der Ankunft war niemand da, der uns den Koffer hoch tragen konnte.

Séjour agréable, personnel très aimable
Pros:

Chambre très propre, très calme, joliment aménagée, j'avais même une sorte de suite familiale !
Et surtout ce merveilleux jardin !
Quant au petit déjeuner, j'ai apprécié qu'il soit servi à la table (par une jeune fille adorable) très copieux, pain très frais, et pour 9 euros 50 ! Alors que je paie souvent 15 ou 16 euros pour un déjeuner buffet certes plus varié mais pas forcément exceptionnel !
Et j'oubliais ! Personnel très aimable !

Cons:

Ce n'est pas une critique, mais être au 2ème étage sans ascenseur fut un peu difficile pour moi, les escaliers sont hauts !
on m'a donc dit que pour la prochaine fois, si je m'y prends assez à l'avance, il y a des chambres en rez-de-jardin

Petit déjeuner plutôt copieux servi dans jardin charmant; personnel bien aimable; Clim bien appréciable

Cons:

Isolation ( portes claquées un peu fort le soir) moyenne car bâtiment ancien ; manque porte manteaux et poubelle. Bien se rappeler pas d’ascenseur … dommage rideaux pas occultants
