Great location, nice rooms and a lovely breakfast
Parking is the only headache
Great location in the centre of Keswick. Excellent service from the staff, especially at breakfast
Felt it was overpriced for a fairly small room with no standout facilities or features.
Location
Parking
Clean and comfortable
Only downside is the music from local pubs / bars which went on until about 1am on Saturday night. But not the fault of the hotel
Nice big room in great central location . Staff in the hotel were nice and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.
We were asked to leave The Back Bar Beer Garden (which is advertised as dog friendly) because we had 2 dogs in our company , both were sleeping under a table. When we asked why we had to leave we were told that the boss has decided that the dogs need to be out by 9pm. I then asked if the beer garden was closing , and was told no but the dogs need to leave.
Location, decor, cleanliness
Bit of a trek from the car park to the hotel, would be a struggle for older less able people.
Location was perfect
We were put on the third floor in the roof space on the room was unbearably hot and uncomfortable when we complained the staff informed us, they could not control the weather. It was not their fault not very good for the expensive rate that they charged.
Location and value and breakfast
No air conditioning. Room very hot.
Great location, couldn't have been .very clean
Minor points but bed side cabinet on wrong side for me ,and bed on castors so when I sat on edge it moved . trivial points I know
Central location, lovely rooms, breakfast was amazing - loved the interior decor
Central position, very clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast.
It was exceptionally hot weather and difficult to keep the room at an acceptable temperature. A stronger fan may have helped.
Lovely centrally located property near to all shops bars and restaurants
Gorgeous room with fabulous shower
Excellent breakfast and helpful staff
Room was rather hot due to the exceptionally hot weather we were experiencing . No air con and the fan provided didn’t do much
Central location. Very nice interiors. Fantastic staff
Lots of add-ins to price that we were not expecting. £30 per night for a tiny dog was expensive. The room was small and probably not one of the hotels best. Parking was extra and everything had a surcharge.
Convenient location as we didn’t have a car on this leg of our holiday. Restaurant food was of a high standard.
On occasion staff could have spoken more quietly and discreetly when discussing their tasks.
